Bhai, I'm not for debate on such controversial topics for the simple reason they tend to get ugly and throw around a lot of negative energy... I think we can do better without such negative energy...Everyone is free to live as they please as long as they dont disturb the peace around them and of others 😉
I think one main reason why they show villainous people do drinking and smoking and all other nonsense for the simple reason they want to emphasise the extent to which these villainous people can go to live as per their rules...Also it is in dark shady places that drinking smoking and underhand dealings take place...not that they dont happen elsewhere - probably to emphasise the fact that it is in the open in such places 😆

But what I think they don't show at all is that women aren't automatically rude, out of hand and characterless if they drink and prefer to have some fun outside. Of course, that's not the case if it's men because they tend to be shown cool and dude that way. And it's this inequality which disturbs me the most.
