The impending leap of the TV show, "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" will not only usher in a fresh plot but a new location as well. The story will now take the cast to Rishikesh.

Ashnoor Kaur, who is currently seen playing the role of Akshara and Naitik's daughter Naira, will be leaving the show. And actress Shivangi Joshi will replace her and play the role of a grown-up Naira post the leap.

"The cast and crew will soon be heading to the holy city of Rishikesh for the upcoming leap in the show. Along with Naira, the show will also see another entry. 'Nisha Aur Uske Cousins' fame Mohsin Khan will be seen entering the show as Kartik, who will be paired opposite Naira," said a source.

Talking about the show, Shivangi said: "I am really excited to be part of 'Yeh Rishta...". The storyline is extremely interesting. The best part is that I get to play a character extremely close to my age. I am going to be my own self on screen and this is something I am really kicked about. I can't wait to begin shooting for the show."

The two actors will soon begin shooting for the Star Plus show.

Actress Shivangi Joshi, who will be next seen as Naira in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", says she is "thrilled" to shoot for the upcoming sequence of the show in Rishikesh, where she spent most of her childhood.

Shivangi, who hails from Dehradun, has spent a major part of her childhood in and around Rishikesh and she is well acquainted with the place.

"Rishikesh is home to me since I belong to that place. It feels really nice to be part of a show that has been going on successfully for so many years," Shivangi said in a statement.

"I have spent a major part of my childhood in Dehradun and Rishikesh enjoying the adventure sports and now that I am going back to shoot at my own place, I am thrilled.

"I also plan on making the cast and crew enjoy Rishikesh through my eyes," she added.

The cast and crew of the show, including actors Karan Mehra">Karan Mehra, Hina Khan andRohan Mehra, will soon be heading to Rishikesh for the upcoming leap in the show.

Apart from Shivangi, the show will also feature "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins" fame Mohsin Khan, who will be seen entering the show as Kartik.

The current track of the popular show Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Star Plus) is focusing on Ahem and Gopi's 25th Marriage Anniversary. Amidst the celebrations, a major twist will be witnessed on the show. Someone will plan and kidnap Meera, Vidya, Gopi and Kokila!

It will be later on revealed that the master mind behind the whole plan is none other than Gaura Suryavanshi. It will be revealed via a video tape, which will be sent to the Modi house. Gaura will torture Kokila a.l.a typical Bollywood style... she will tie her hands to the car and drag her all the way!

But now there will be a twist in the tale as Kokila will somehow manage to escape from the cluches of Gaura and will stake Gaura with a trishul.
