WORD about shows being trash nowadays.. the Sony shows are at least worth watching.. much better than most of the crap dished out. But SIGH even Sony is hell bent on ending 2 of its good shows abruptly.

Nowadays, its better to watch without any expectations. Also try not to get too attached with a show because you never know when the channel pulls the plug or when the writers decide to loose their memory & re-write the characters differently.

Hats off to Gulaal for telling the story it set out to tell, despite the show not garnering the TRPs

U also love rajat, Hey, y dont u join our cc for rajat fans, where we disuss about him... Everyone is waiting for his new show and then maybe we will shift to that show's forum...
Yes nowadays no show interests me anymore... I loved arnav khushi a lot too 😆 but now forgotten them... Guess no pair surpassed my attachment for gulaal... 😃

But somewhere he knew gulaal can never be like that... His heart was always in conflict regarding that ... Kesar suffered a lot, a lot, just like gulaal, but gulaal misunderstood him many a times...but it was very natural, coz afterall gulaal is a human... Both gulaal and kesar had many similar traits, maybe that's y they fought so much lol 😆

No doubt, she was harsh. But she was never wrong/unjustified in the way she felt & acted.
If you look at it, even post leap, K's feelings were sorted. Yes he was conflicted & too scared of her answer.. but like you mentioned, the trust was always there. It was Gulaal's feelings that the emphasis was placed on in a subtle manner from the way she first viewed him as Kesar the child when he returned, to her realising that he's grown up & is a man, to the subsequent horrors of discovering that he's always viewed her as a wife & loved her. Gulaal clearly had a lot more to overcome. And TBH you can't blame her.. not because she was human. But because of what she went through. It's not just about her being Vasant's widow, but its about how she had killed off the woman inside her & lived only for the family. And the shock.. Kesar the child who she 'mothered' loved her.
This was Gulaal's story through & through. Her evolution was absolutely beautiful & progressive.

Everything u said is spot on! But u know i loved kesar so much that kabhi kabhi bura lgta tha 😆 but yea gulaal also went through a lot... She was hella strong woman! From a naughty young girl, to a bahu and a widow and being kesar's wife... She was ofcourse one of the best character written... Her transition was beautuful and her journey painful... Nobody knew what she was going through, she had the courage to live with her husband's murderer... And she was like a mother for her whole family, protecting everyone... Gulaal defines a strong WOMAN... She is much ahead of many female characters on tv! 👏

That of course. You must be heartless to not feel bad for Kesar. Everybody cried for him & with him. WORD on Gulaal being such a strong character. Again one of the rare FLs who was not a doormat & a woman with pride.
That scene when Gulaal told JK that 'main tukda tod tod kar uske mooh mein nahin rakhungi'.. and 'daasi aur patni mein phark hota hai' THAT WAS CLASS MAN. I was like go woman go. Gulaal really makes me a proud viewer.

And yeah I loved NBT S1 too.. or at least up till Mohan married Riddhima. After that toh the show went downhill just like any other show.

Anybody who wants to learn the art of butchering the characterers/stories you make, needs to watch Indian shows.

Another heart touching scene which made me teary was between gulaal n young kesura... After vasant's death when gulal goes to feed the cow and the cow doesn't eat as vasant fed him... So kesar brings vasant's pagdi on gulaal's head and gulaal says something like vasant ki pagdi se mai thodi na vasant bann jaugi but then is shocked to see that the cow starts eating... Although this scene was simple yet it was so heart wrenching... Gulaal is immediately moved to tears and so was I .. Lovely scene! ❤️

That is one of my favourite scenes of young Kesar & Gulaal. It was such a moving scene without much being said. It was Vasant who brought Kesar/Gulaal together & how beautifully even after his death, these two created a special bond of their own, but yet keeping Vasant alive.

One thing I've always appreciated about this show is how Vasant & the beginnings of how it all started, was never forgotten. Often shows start off with certain characters or circumstances but as time goes by & the story moves forward, its like the past is completely forgotten. I love how it all ended from where it started. Amazing parallels.
