But again like said in the other thread, the series itself was so "meh" with the monotonous monologues interspersed with "burps". Aise mein, promo didnt need too much of a professional touch, did it? But I am happy that an "amateur" promo did get some recognition apart from the online fans going "pagal hai par cute hai"

She is warm, she is caring, she smiles through her eyes and she is a woman with loads of courage and strength, well, we are talking about Sanaya Irani.

Sanaya Irani spent 07 years in a boarding school in Ooty and then came to Mumbai, where she did her graduation from Sydenham College. She wanted to pursue an MBA degree, but decided to become an actress.

Sanaya has always done want her heart told her to and here she was all set to begin a life, which was full of challenges.

With countless dream and spirit of fire, she stood like a rock to make a name for herself. Auditions after auditions, rejections after rejections, life was not easy for her, but she never looked back.

Her romance with stardom began in the 2006, with the film Fanaa, where she essayed the role of Mehbooba.

Even though she did not a huge role in this Aamir Khan-Kajol starrer, Sanaya's talent did not go unnoticed and she was cast as Cadet Sameera Shroff in Left Right Left (Sab TV).

However, year 2008, changed everything for her, as she was cast as Gunjan Bhushan in Miley Jab Hum Tum (Star One) and then came Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Star Plus) in 2010, where she essayed the character of Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada opposite Barun Sobti.

Sanaya essayed the role of Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada to such a perfection that till date, it's been etched in the minds of people and she is often mistaken to be the character rather than herself.

Her rise was unprecedented and she went on to be a part of shows like Chhanchhan (Sony Entertainment Television) and Rangrasiya (Colors).

Though, both these shows did not do that well in terms of numbers, Sanaya was loved by her fans.sanaya irani-02However, it was Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 8 (2015) that Sanaya Irani took everyone by surprise and was one of the top contenders.

For Sanaya Irani, life has always been full of up's and down's, but then she has always taken things in her stride, as she does not believe in delving into the past but believes in only looking ahead.

Her journey has been full of resilience, courage and hope. She has given her all, be it in her craft or the people she loves and in return only commands respect.

Strong women do not stand victim, do not make themselves look painful and they never point fingers. They stand and they deal. Well, that's how I would like to sum up Sanaya Irani.

The song, be it's lyrics or music has managed to capture the essence of PaRud's story and transpire it across the screen in the most soulful manner which is why this is surely going to be a joyous moment for the entire team of Colors popular show RangRasiya and the fans of the show as the title track of this Sanaya Irani-Ashish Sharma starer has won a Bronze award for "BEST ORIGINAL SONG" on TV at the ABBY's Award, Goa Fest 2014
Congratulations to Abhishek Kumar and Shashank Kunwar the lyricists who penned down the magical lines of this beautiful ballad and Saurabh Kalsi who has composed and lend his voice to this very earthy, rustic and romantic number.

Good to know two of sanaya's shows have won ABBY's .. Bronze . RR for the song and IPK Jashn for the promo . 👏

Star overall did very well in the ABBY's this yr .. Their Mauka Mauka campaign for the world cup won them a gold and SKR campaign a silver .. So well done .

This is such a pleasant surprise 😆 I thought their will be a lull now after GPA . I remember seeing the promo of this Nakul show way back in end Jan / early Feb I think ... It was very funny and virtually had everyone of the TV industry in it .. And then Rajeev masand and Mukesh chabbra too ..

How sweet of them to make Sanaya their ambassador .. Doubt she would have acted in it cause this must have been shot a while back .. Maybe she will just give a small byte and promote it 😆 it's just 3 days away so let's see what it is ...

Speaking of web series ... saw this on TC .. sounds interesting. Also the title "Girl in the City' is from Wake Up Sid ... so caught my interest 😛
