No. He's perfectly fine. He was fine yesterday (Tuesday) by noon. I took him out to lunch for some noodles and then we went to the library and got tons of books. He's started to read really well. So he gobbles up books like crazy. So he's spread them all out and reading. 😃

Eh, some crap. I'll PM you about it tomorrow. I still have my doubts. But oh well, right now, it is anyone's guess. And, frankly, I have reached a point where I don't even care. Dream on. Someone has the time & is twisted enough to create an MID & talk about a show that that person is not even interested in? Go, right on ahead. Your time, your comments. I'll just skip those & move on. Can't deal with sarcastic comments in the garb of constructive criticism anymore, as if everyone else is too slow to catch on to real intentions. Never mind.

Has anyone watched the Divergent series? I know it has loopholes in the plot, the size of a small country, but it is still quite fun. I liked Divergent way better than Insurgent, though. Insurgent was totally meh.

My thing is...Jodi fans, neutral fans, Barun fans, Sanaya fans...I don't give a shit!

But what irks me is, regardless of how much we drool over Sobti, we have NEVER...EVER said anything bad about Sanaya. Ever!!! Not in here or in our other CC. And I'm sure even if one of us did, any one of the others here would call us out on it. Even when they enlightened you about the pasts of all our members, that was our decision too. But these people bash Barun and his entire khandaan directly! Absolutely no shame!!! Just because they proclaim themselves to be Sanaya fans do they think it gives them a free ticket to Sobti bashing? Despicable!!!

I want to. But I watch too many shows as it is. It's gotten to be a little much these days. Maybe soon once the current season takes a break till Fall.

Okay, I love your kid. Any kid who gobbles up books like crazy - I love them. None of my under 10 years cousins/nephews/nieces read and that's a matter of constant heartache for me.

Yeah. Thanks. We just got his assessment back. He's reading at a 3rd grade level and he's in kindergarten still. So I got him some magic treehouse chapter books today. Let's see how he does.

Here in the US, they concentrate on reading and phonics first. Math, not so much. They still add using fingers and beads and he's 5! They start proper math only in 1st grade. But we Asians never learn. So as a typical Indian, I got workbooks from India last summer and he does a page every day! 😆

It is basically like the Hunger Games, apparently, if you have watched that. I haven't. Anyway, it is basically set in the future in this place that is literally walled off from the outer world. They all believe that there is nothing good outside those walls. And, within the walls exists a system which they think is the best way to remain the best kind of society. This is to divide the people into 4 different groups based on their personality. Or was it 5? I don't remember. I don't remember the names, either. But basically, there is the group that is kind & selfless. The truthful ones. The calculative, logical ones, the daring ones(Dauntless). That is all I think. People follow their family's group until they are of age when they have to take a test which gives them which group they best belong to. But they are still free to choose any other group during the sorting ceremony (HP term, but I don't remember what exactly the term here is). But once they choose there is no going back. And, if you are in a different one from your family, you don't even get to see them. Group before blood or some such thing. The twist comes when there are people whose test shows they can belong to more than one group. They are called Divergent. This doesn't settle well with the set up because they fear these Divergents, as they think they can cause chaos. Hence, they are being hunted. The heroine happens to be a Divergent, but has to hide it. Her parents are in the selfless thing, while she chooses Dauntless. There she meets this guy, who is a trainer, called Four(for 4 fears, the least that anyone has). Then, it is about what happens once she joins Dauntless & the Divergent hunt continues.
