There are better looking actors than him, in fact there are quite a number of them. But as Archana said, he has an appeal that makes him extremely drool-worthy.
About fan wars, there's no end to fan wars. It happened in the past, it's happening now and it'll keep happening. And it's not only this fandom, it happens with every fandom - the way the fans of two rival football team fights on Twitter and FB! Maybe this gives fandoms a sense of pseudo importance, maybe it's just easy to fight in the virtual world under the shield of anonymity. Whatever it is, it's very stressful yet tempting. The only thing we can do is to try harder to focus on the fun parts of being in a fandom.
Okay, enough of me being a wise-ass. Forgive me, I was just lecturing my rather demoralized unemployed friend, so certainly in the mood
