Have you ever watched or read a love story & thought, hell, these two break my heart? I have, a few times. Pride & Prejudice, Paradise did that. Monica-Chandler, Mark-Lexie (Grey's Anatomy) did that. But no other pair did that as effectively & as consistently as Arnav-Khushi did. Is it just me or is the clawing need, the bone deep longing, so very palpable between these two! I think, they were resilient enough to have survived had they not met each other. They probably would have survived even going their separate ways on meeting. But the difference between what they were when they were in each other's orbit & when they weren't is what clinches it. They were better off with each other than without. And, not many pairs make me want to say that. And, God! What a half life of sorts they lived until they met & fell in hate, then, came the soul deep yearning, & you can practically see these two need to each other. Khushi needs Arnav because she doesn't exercise her right on anybody the way she does with him, & this was true even when they were only hating each other. There was gratitude in most of her other relationships, perhaps with an exception of Payal. But here, with this man, they were such equals & she owned him, mind, body & soul. She could be a brat to him & get away with it. He was all hers. And, Arnav? He wasn't exaggerating when he spoke about how everything was adhura before she stormed into his life. I haven't seen a man need, desire, yearn & long for a woman more than Arnav did for Khushi. His attraction to her drove him mad. But I think, it was her craziness that did him in.

Bear with me. I am watching these VMs & I can't help but ramble. Honestly, while the actors took the whole thing to another level, the show itself was magic.

Don't ask me to "bear" with you, because you just mirrored my thoughts.
I mean, I have watched endless shows, loved chemistry between couples, some of which include pairs that you already mentioned above, and some are different, say Stefan-Elena (I wasn't a Delena shipper), GHT, etc.
At 23, honestly, love stories don't grip me any more, regardless of what writing it involves or the so called chemistry b/w the leads. I have become quite the resilient one when it comes to that, the only exception being Arnav and Khushi.
I totally second what you said, and yes, that rightful ownership was what reflected in both of their thoughts as well as actions.
While Khushi took time to show, Arnav treated her as HIS property since day 1.

I'm never in love with the feeling of being in love, nor a hopeless romantic, but watching this show, these two, and the palpable and impeccable passion that their relationship has beautifully showcased, I don't think I can ever have similar kind of faith, devotion or respect for any other on screen characters.
It's these tiny yet tender bits in all their scenes together regardless of how horrible the tracks got that still made you just look and feel.

One such instance I'd say would be when K organizes the BB match and Arnav's instant reaction to when she says she will also join them is "Nahi, tumhe chot lag jayegi."
That's just so, so amazing!
And every bit of time he'd ask "Khushi kahan hai?" God, I never felt it was acting. It was so REAL.

And, can I just say I will hyperventilation myself into dizziness if a man were to look at me the way Arnav looked at Khushi. I mean, I am caught between wanting to applaud the perfection of the eloquence of the stare & fangirling over it.

Ditto.
Although Arnav Singh Raizada has raised my expectations beyond perimeters from the man that (would be) in my life.😆

Oh no. No thank you. No real life ASR for me. I'll take the post marriage Arnav without the ASR aspect. If not, I'd rather drool over the on-screen version.

^ If you read my comments just in the prev. page, u'll see I mentioned the same thing.
Such manhandling ASR can only be shredded to nothing by me.

Arnav, however, is hello-hi, no bye bye! 😆

Well, Ananya, I can drool over ASR at a distance. I am not sure if I would like him if he were closer. Wait. Hell, I would most certainly like it. What was my point, again?

On another note, the collab OS with Ruchi that we just wrote randomly will get posted tomorrow midnight. Check it after your exams. Don't complain later that I don't tell you anything & that you get to know everything last.

True. I would have run to him anyway! 😆😆
What is the fun is getting love easily. Fight for it a little, fight with him a little! 😆😆

Plus, have you seen those abs! Totally my thing. I have recently started having a thing for this neck and throat wala part too. I think I'm becoming weirder by the day but I can't help it! The guy is getting to every part of me now! 😉

Barun has said it many times that he is more of a Shravan kind in real life, which z of course evident..
ASR is a tough character to be with when it comes to real life. This makes me feel I'm bipolar, cuz looking at him on screen doing that push n pull with Khushi, I go ☺️, if someone was to even do an iota of that kinda manhandling in real life to me, I wud shred him to pieces 😡🤣

I haven't watched this Shravan wala serial. He didn't look very nice there. He looked very champu with that clean shave. The ASR look suits him better than the Barun look also! Whoever thought of that is a bloody genius!

Oh yes, same! I feel very hypocritical because if someone tried to do this with me in real life, I would turn back and give him a tight slap. But then maybe if it was ASR, I'd just stand there and accept him into my life with one look of his! 😳

Oh I love me some drama!

ASR is my weakness! Not that I approved of him manhandling Khushi...but Khushi was no 'abala naari'. She could hold her own! And the way Arnav was hurt more for hurting Khushi? Barun did that so well, no? His anguish was so palpable that I felt it too. 😳

That is so true. But then its another thing that I don't want any guy in my life. I'm a bloody independent woman around here! I mean have you seen the married women in my house. Everytime they dont do something they want to do, they give the excuse of her husband. HELLO PEOPLE. WOMAN EMPOWERMENT. Why is everyone acting like an abla nari while in reality are just female hitlers otherwise!

But then makes sense why I'm the female version of ASR. Dadima can't become that because she's too old and not as classy as our original ASR. So the only person left is me. And I'm definitely a good match for the man!

I feel like I'm giving him 101 reasons why I'd be a better wife to him than anyone else around here even though (1) he doesn't care and (2) he doesn't exist.

Also please notice hypocrisy in this whole comment.
