DD literally does the same role in every show of hers. I don't know much about her latest show. But right up to Madhubala, every character of hers was a photocopy of the her other characters. No experimentation. And, I had only liked her in DMG. She was such a convincing loud Punjabi that for years, I had believed her to be one in real life. After that, she was just average, Geet onwards.

No, no!! DD and Barun would be a disaster, I think!! Their acting styles would so not gel well together. I don't like DD AT ALL!!! She's whiny and screechy and over the top! I seriously don't understand the level of fame she's gotten so far! Her disastrous hosting job is a testament to her talent. No spontaneity!

Sorry, I'm a little extreme when it comes to my likes and dislikes. Don't mean to come off so strong. Just letting you guys know beforehand! 😳

Yes, JW is absolutely gorgeous!!

Yeah, last Summer when I was in Bangalore, I got to watch a lot of Hindi shows. I mean, I would just watch it in passing. So Ek tha Raja ek thi Rani actually started when I was there.

She was ok! She's not very natural. I felt her exuberant character before she marries the Raja was very forced. And she looked okay...not great! Sanaya in those old style kanjeevarams would've looked gorgeous!

Ok. While I cannot imagine Sanaya in DD's role in ETR2, DD herself is not a great actor. If it is within her comfort zone, she is pretty good. And, that was the case with her first role. After that, she just was the same. And, a lot of her popularity is because she has managed to star in hit shows continuously. I don't like her either. So..

But anchoring skills are a whole different ball game, I feel. I mean, Sanaya is such a good actor but she & Mohit were slammed for their poor anchoring & replaced by JW & an RJ for this celebrity dance reality show that came on Star One called Zara Nachke Dikha. And, this despite Sanaya's diction, articulation being so good. DD was just awful as Jhalak host.

Oh yeah, that role is not great! I was just talking about looks. Sanaya would look great in those costumes. 😊

Oh! I didn't know Sanaya had tried her hand at hosting too. Yeah, true! I mean, I think Manish Paul can't act if his life depended on it! But he's a great host!

I LOVE Manish Paul's hosting. I confess, half the reason I watch Jhalak, season after shitty season is because he does the hosting & he is so hilarious & awesome.

Do you think there was something shifty about the JDJ final? I've always wondered whether it was fixed. Sanaya has so many crazy fans, I find it hard to believe she didn't get the most votes..

The one & only thing that DD is better than SI at is dancing. DD is a slightly more graceful & comfortable dancer. That is literally the only thing DD has over Sanaya. Sanaya is easily the better actor by miles.

I think, Sanaya got the votes, but unfortunately for her, Colors seemed to have decided on an image makeover for Jhalak. It was notorious for making most popular celeb(or, the most favoured on by the channel) win over the best dancer. They probably decided to change that when they "Reload"-Ed it. Bad timing for Sanaya. It is so crappy because I rooted for the best dancers or the most improved ones in Seasons 6(Lauren) & 7(Karan Tacker) & they didn't win. I root for Sanaya in Season 8 & they make Faisal win. Oh well, the boy is an actor & he is a really, really good dancer. She couldn't have lost to a better dancer. So...small consolation, perhaps. It did not help that her choreographer wasn't the best. Actually none of the choreographers in this season were as good as the old ones.
