Eh. Nothing that has caramel for me. I don't like desserts much. And, the Tiramisu I had had so much caramel. Scarred for life.
I love bhindi too. No curd rice for me. I drink buttermilk instead because I can't make myself eat curd rice.

Limon. Seriously, write a book about your life. I will buy it. I can bet, it will be a bestseller. You have the most incredible life stories. I love Italian food. Indian for everyday though. But I can eat Pasta several times a week. Chinese is pretty good too. Have been meaning to try Mediterranean but nobody in my friends circle is interested.

Haha! You don't know the half of it. It's been an interesting life so far. Maybe some day!

Thanks though 🤗

Where in the hell did you eat that?

Tiramisu has NO caramel. Caramel is a very non-Italian thing. No authentic Italian recipe uses Caramel.

Authentic Tiramisu has coffee and rum. The filling is lady fingers (not bhindi but a kind of cookie) soaked in coffee and rum and layered with mascarpone cheese with sugar. I add thin chocolate slabs as one of the layers and dust with cocoa powder on top.

Here's my recipe. I have some twists of my own, but this was my inspiration.

Well, ****. The restaurant, a branch of Little Italy, which claims to serve authentic Italian. *smh
Never mind. It just tasted terribly sweet.

Ok. Half of what you said went right over my head. I have zero knowledge of cooking. I only eat.

Eurasia, na?

Lol! I haven't had authentic Italian in Bangalore. Which is pretty sad.

Lol. Yeah. Kharma. 😆You have been there? The first time, I liked it. Next time, I didn't. Apparently, Toscano is good. No clue. Haven't had the time to go there. It is so far off from my place. Strangely enough the best pasta I have eaten was not anywhere in these supposed authentic Italian restaurants. It was at this small chain of eateries that serves just Pizza & Pasta at a students' pocket money friendly price.

I knew it!!! That place is the worst!!! 😆

Toscano is all hype and no substance.

Try California Pizza Kitchen, in Indiranagar I guess.

It happens. The best pizza I've eaten is actually in Prague...NOT Italy!

But best pasta was in Rome, at this tiny mom and pop place in an alley behind Spanish Steps. Amazing!

Authentic Italian is surprisingly very light. Even alfredo sauce. You can eat and eat and never feel full or disgusted.

^ You are literally the first person to diss Eurasia. It has such great ratings on Zomato. So, we tried. 2nd time we did, was an eye opener. I didn't like a single thing that was served there. And, it was on my birthday last year. Pizza sucked, the ravioli sucked, the lasagna sucked. That was when I decided to never go there again. Toscano isn't good either? Great. Indiranagar has the best restaurants, along with Kormangala & they are so far. I hate that. Never mind, I'll check out California Pizza Kitchen.

Mini shitstorm on Twitter, thanks to Arti Gupta. 😆
My good humour is finally restored.
Nothing like watching fandoms having a go at each other especially when you are past caring & stop being invested.😆
