ah oki quite understandable.. especially being away from India ur whole life.. the ones in India can't read r write their own mother-tongue how can we expect NRI's to do that 😆 I'm personally aware of parents who infact scold their children for talking in their mother tongue & expect them to talk in English even in their own homes... #lifesucks

My Hindi is very good though...I can read and write as well 😃

I always spoke Malayalam at home growing-up, even though it wasn't very good 😆... When I visit India, and someone tries to converse with me in English, I always reply in Mal/Hin, depending on which part I'm visiting.
