As reported on our sister website, BizAsia Media, the Comedy Nights With Kapil' show is coming to an end on Colors this weekend. It is now being reported that Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda will all be moving to Star Plus for a new show. The only one that is undecided is Navjot Singh Sidhu.

A source told Bollywood Life, "As Comedy Nights With Kapil ends on Colors, negotiations are on for the entire team to move to Star. Everyone in the team is with Kapil. Only Navjot Singh Sidhu is undecided. But he, too, is likely to join Kapil on the show on Star which would have a completely new name and format."

The source added, "We all knew it was the last episode"at least for now. But we were not going to hug and sob . We had decided there will be no tamasha, not even an announcement about the show ending. Akshay took Kapil aside to ask if there should be any reference to the final episode but Kapil declined. We had a whale of time for three years. We didn't want to spoil it at the last moment. "

An announcement on the new show is expected after the finale of Comedy Nights With Kapil'. Meanwhile, Colors will replace the Kapil Sharma comedy with another show simply titled Comedy Nights'.
