Hum log ek thread ko 8-9 months tak chalaatey rahe😆😆...I guess that's why. In IF terms, "most popular" should mean one which has the most number of views in the last month/fixed time period..and I guess pages too. I am assuming that most CC threads get wrapped fairly quickly as members are more..they are more active, and a lot of spamming is done. We trudged along for so many months...so more views.😆

But wouldn't more members = more views?

Overall, this is an interesting question - what exactly does their algorithm measure to arrive at the listing of top threads? For what it is worth, our posts were also decidedly more literate, more verbose, more structured than almost everything on IF. Is it possible that we were being recognized for our literary skill? 😛 😆😆😆

GG ke saath ladke dhoondhney ka thought had honestly not crossed my mind. 😛

But, just the thought of returning home to stay with my mother - yes, I have thought of that. The only reason I am not following through with it is because I am practically unemployable in IN, and even if I do get work, it won't pay as much money as I earn here.

If there were a way for me to maintain the same quality of life that I have here, I'll relocate without any further thought. [I was telling this to another friend a few weeks ago, who immediately remarked: "well, money is not everything" - which is true, but we didn't have much money during my childhood, which is probably why I can't just not care about it...] But, well, anyway... jo bhi bhaagya mein likhaa hai...
