Another long term marriage to have a brutal end soon!

This time the actor in question belongs to one of the biggest Bollywood families. He, who is also a producer is on the verge of facing a split from his wife of nearly twenty years.

Yes, you heard that right.

This lovely couple of B-town who was happily married till now and also has two handsome sons, might soon split up, reason being the actor's infidelity towards his wife. Rumours were rife that he is having an extra marital affair with an actress much younger to him. However, both, the actor and the female actress in question had denied the news. She even went on to say that he is like her "elder brother".

But, if reports in a leading tabloid are to be believed, the actor has been thrown out of their family house by none other than his dear wifey who could no longer bear his unfaithfulness.

The reports further state that, since a divorce is something completely out of the question as the male head of their family will not allow it on any condition; the wife has given him two options: either to improve or to move out of the house permanently.

Why is she referring to the woman as "dear wife", or even worse "dear wifey"? Surely, the wife was not dear to the actor in any way... warnaa idhar-udhar mooh kaalaa nahin kartaa, nahin?

Other instances of bad writing include:

1. The article begins with the notion that the marriage is ending soon, and ends with the assertion that divorce is out of the question. Kya hai bhai - is the marriage ending, or is it not ending? Mann banaa lo pehley...

2. Apparently the "male head of he family" disapproves divorce. In all patriarchal societies, the head of the family is male. Then why do these novice writers think that they are pouring out valuable information when in fact they are only just stating the obvious...

But for what it is worth, Priyanka Chauhan has shown better writing skills than the interns who run the entertainment section of TOI. 😎
