So, as Rhett Butler would say: "frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" (about unintended spelling auto-corrections). 😛😛😛

+1 to that.

I too hadn't noticed the typo until GG pointed it out. 😆 The human brain usually does the AutoCorrect on its own...in several situations.

Most readers recognize entire words at once by seeing the first and last letters of the word and combining that information with other important information, such as the length, shape and content of the word.

@GG: For Hindi words...most keyboards allow this feature where you can do an "add to dictionary" for words from other languages/which you tend to use often in your comments. You select the word...usually your keyboard gives several options (for the word) to autocorrect as you type along... and the first one of these is the word as you typed it. You can click on that...and most keyboards give the option then of "add to dictionary" right then. Works with android or iOS.

So the next time you are using that word, it will pop-up right there and is a part of your system's dictionary.

I love this emoticon.

Yesterday, I binge-watched almost an entire season of "The Middle". Have any of you watched that show? I think, I like it more than modern family, and the big bang theory.
I also started watching "Power Couple" . It has many people from previous BB seasons, but the greatest comic relief in that show will probably come from Delu and her new bf. It baffles me how this woman can a. find one choosaa-hua-aam lover after another, and b. get invited to reality shows (even though the only entertainment she can provide is her over-dramatic ronaa-dhonaa)...

But anyway... I didn't get very far with the show. I'll try catching up today, and I'll look for the Power Couple forum. Ab Kwerky will be away, but if it is a weekend show, not too much of it would have passed by the time she returns, and we can start posting on the PC forum. 😃

On a serious note - Yes, I had always thought that it degenerates with age. But I guess all sorts of conditions have exceptions...or maybe it is more common than I thought. Ignorance.

You would obviously know the significance of this. So how does on treat it? You had mentioned that you were taking Vit D supplements but since there isn't enough sunlight there, it's not working, is it?

We can make our own Vit D. Our body needs some little bit of UV light (from sunshine), and we produce enough Vit D for our need. So, if one is regularly exposed to sunshine, one normally doesn't develop a deficiency.
People who use sunscreens with very high SPF values, or those people who live in geographical locations where their exposure to sunshine is limited may often develop a deficiency of Vit. D.

In such cases, the normal course is to take supplements so that the level of Vit. D is restored. The emergency protocol can also extend to getting IV infusions. But one has to be careful with this because Vit. D is fat-soluble, and if it is consumed in excess it results in toxicity. I get my blood levels checked every few weeks, for no good reason actually (because no matter how much Vit. D I consume, I am always below the limit.)
Because of an as yet undiagnosed problem, even maximal doses of Vit D are not stabilizing the levels in my blood. I get an injection every week, and immediately the day after the blood values increase; but by the end of the week, I am again deficient.

@Sunshine: I don't know whether that will cure anything... In California also, I was deficient (in spite of all the sunny days)...

But - for all the years that I lived in India, I never had a problem. So, I keep thinking about how the problem is this place... But probably it isn't.

Anyhoo... Talking about this has made me self-conscious.
The two of you, GG and Kwerky - learn from my example and soak in some sunshine whenever you can. It is the giver of healthy bones and a pain-free life.

Now the authorities will find a suicide note written by the black buck. The black buch had shot himself.

Wow...thanks for all that information.😊

@bold: 😆 Noted. college

But if you never had such a problem in India, maybe it does have something to do with the place. India being closer to the Equator gets more sunshine/UV rays...even during the winter the sunshine here will be a tad more stronger than further North...nahin...

Or maybe you just developed the issue later...don't know.

Seriously! That Delu... 😡😡 ...
And Ashmit and Mahek seemed like they decided to get into the relationship only to come on the show. Kaam-kaaj toh hai nahin bechaaron ke paas, showmance kar ke paisey kamaa letey hain... 😳😳

Of the guys, Aamir is the cutest. ❤️ And of the girls, I liked Sayeeda the most. 😎
Shawar and Marsela make a cute couple too. 😳

I just finished today's episode of PC. And here are my observations:
A.) The tasks are so tacky. The hosts are tacky. Seriously tacky.
B.) The background scores are way too dramatic and I can hardly take the show seriously with all the filmy flourishes thrown in...
C.) Percy deserves someone better than Delu. Had he lost the task, ha'd have had hell to pay. And di you see Delu dancing? OMG, Percy can do much better than that blob of fat...
D.) PC forum has not started on IF.
