Nel Batte Sannata is getting good reviews. 👏 Swara Bhaskar is a good actress.

Anyone watched Fan. I'm getting mixed reviews. After HNY, I am almost scared to watch any SRK movie in theatre. (Ne is MIA, so I'm safe😆)

Hello lovelies.

Sachin Tendulkar. Started playing at 16 and retired at 40. 25 years of cricket and such unbeatable records 👍🏼 👏.

I saw Fan today and liked it. I think after CDI and Swades this is the third SRK film I've liked. It's different from the usual crap. You feel for the fan even though you know what he is doing is not right. SRK was good as there was hardly any hamming. Credit to Maneesh Sharma for that. No song and dance either. So another plus point for me. I'm surprised it hasn't yet crossed 100 crores yet. I guess only loud films like HNY and CE can cross 100 crores in no time 😕. Fan isn't everyone's cup of tea though. My sis was yawning in the first half.

Gitey, I've also read good reviews about Nil Batte Sannata. Liked Swara in Tanu Weds Manu. I liked her in Raanjhanaa too even though I felt she was a bit OTT. I didn't have the guts to watch PRDP though 😆.

You like Fan. Then, I will give it a try when it airs on TV, which should be soon.

I tried to watch a few minutes of Dilwale, it was sheer torture.

I like him in DDLJ, CKI, Swades and his earlier movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, and one with Suchitra (can't recollect the name, but the songs were fab). Salman movies has mass appeal, Aamir's appeal to class, SRK got lost somewhere in between. But his success story, especially for someone without any film bg and coming over from TV, is incredible.

I think its time the Khans played their age.

A big controversy over Salman's appointment as Olympic Ambassador. Well, Olympic needs a boost, but I honestly feel a sportsperson would've been a better choice, unless salman is doing it for free. He has a huge following, but so does Sachin. Or maybe two joint ambassadors - one from the sporting arena and one for face value.

Akshay would've been a better choice, the sportspersons would've inspired by his fitness. Abhishek Bachchan for that matter, has done a lot for sports in the form of Kabbadi and football.

will try to watch fan . i was interested ever since i heard no song and dance ...wow now thats a novelty especially for a SRK movie ..couldnt see dilwale ..left it in the first ten minutes ...

..struggling with kapoor and sons ..just found it a tad boring for my taste despite the eye candies ...but will see it ANYWAY

How is mumbai and the heat there ?

here its stable after a couple of showers here n there but its nevertheless soaring ...no complaints !

Theres a new movie with kalki and naseer and it seems interesting with their spouses in coma ...

You watched the uncut version Namsyyy - lucky you.

1st episode was death, death and more deaths.

Deaths b/f from last season - Jon, Myrcella, and that Ramsays' Girfriend

Deaths this season so far - The Dorne king and prince, so bloody unnecessary.

Ok so, Melisandre is an old woman. I didn't get the big hype surrounding her big reveal. So she maybe 300 not 30. How does it alter things?

Daavos looking intently at the jon's spilled blood on the snow - did he see a pattern. I paused to watch closely, but couldn't find any.

Deaneries back with Dothraki, back to square one. Till she sets foot on Kings landing, I think they're just gonna use magnificient sets and hordes of extras, and some dragon scenes to keep her story arc alive.

Arya blind - poor girl - I'm not liking this Jaquen Haghar much.

Ramsay is on the edge. He lost his servant, his wife, his fg and looks like losing the Bolton tag too. It was heartening to see Roose Bolton threatening him.

Sansa - Brennie scene was the only redeeming part of the first episode. For 3 seasons, Brennie has been failing one task after another and now in one day, she kills Stannis (hopefully), and protects Sansa. Pod rick and Theon were the unlikely heroes of the episode, since our hero was lying dead.

Ghost is mad with rage. Felt so good to see Ghost back.

Cersei too is mad with rage and grief. Did not feel so good there. Her lamenting that Myrcella did not need to die for she was good, even if her mother was not. What about Robb and Bran, whose too were good and their parents too. All the smirking, seeing the Stark children suffer is coming back to bite her.

Tyrion and Varys, these two have too much on their hands - an entire city to rule, consisting of rebels and slaves and masters and a queen who has run away. I was hoping for Tyrion to lead Dany to Kings landing. Looks like she has landed him into lots of trouble.

Hi-5 Gitey, I too tried watching Dilwale on TV. I thought I'll give it 15 mins but gave up in 5. That's what I mean. Such movies make 100 crores. Tbh with no song and dance and romance and hardly any humour Fan will barely make it to the 100 crore club.

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Liked that movie too. Good songs with good lyrics. I think SRK has hammed in all his movies except CDI and Swades. I found Swades a lil preachy in the second half but good overall. But his old movies had a decent story and good flow.

I'm not happy to see Salman as brand ambassador for Indian Olympics tbh whether he is charging for it or doing it for free. Yes he has mass appeal. But what is his connection with sports esp at the international level? And what upsets me the most is that he was in a legal battle recently and went scott free but everyone kinda knows the truth whether they admit it or not.

Cricket may not be an Olympic sport even though it's an international sport but Sachin too has mass appeal and was such a good cricketer so won't he be the right choice? 😕. I'm ok with Akshay too. Not sure about Abhishek though.

I watched 'Fan' too and really liked it. When I watched the trailer of the film, I thought it would be about the genuine love and affection of fans for their icons. The film turned out to be quite the opposite and how! Must say it's gutsy on SRK's part to do such an unconventional film which doesn't appease the fans but instead gives them a reality check. I thought he was exceptional. The hardcore SRK fan in me was super delighted to see him doing such a challenging film. Kudos to Manish Sharma and team for making this rather important film from which a lot of people (including me) need to take some cue from and try n be more realistic in life.

The Mangalpur sequence, the running away from nikaah, the chase against the background of sunset, Asad's frustration at not being able to stop Zoya, Zoya's insistence to help others, Asya at their best. Truly golden period of QH. Seems more golden during the second view.
Even the SM drama seems so so good. Gaffy and Razia

I wish they had even included the parts with Yash and Aarti :( Asad and Zoya had some good scenes with them. Ah, but cannot agree more. The return journey song and Asad thinking about the moments from Mangalpur in his room :') The SM drama was good too. You and I will be forever gushing about QH on this CC Gitey! 😆

Could not for the life of me, bring myself to read what all Adhyanan Suman had to say about Kangana. Firstly, coz I never liked him. Secondly, coz he simply seems to be trying to cash in on the Hrithik-Kangana controversy. And lastly coz I dunno how much of what he says can be trusted. Can anybody please tell me his side of the story in brief.
