@Deepthi- I am trying. I go through books fairly quickly but North & South is such a tedious novel. I have a new found appreciation for Austen's pace after starting this. Even Austen seems to move the story at a better pace than Gaskell. But it is sort of a quirk of mine, I guess. I just have to read the book. I believe that with the exception of The Godfather, the book always wins over the tv/movie adaptation. So, I am struggling with it. I am in Ch 18 & it has 50 odd chapters overall. But hum honge kamiyaab ek din. :P

I am well too thank you😳I was so pleasantly surprised to read about Sanaya getting the immunity ball cause honestly I wasn't expecting that, Sanaya fans are numerous and I am sure colors has a fair idea about it and for them Profits matter which means upping the number of votes and so they could have not given Sanaya the golden ball ..😭But our girl doesn't settle down for anything but the best when she puts her hart n soul into something 😳and the results are right here 👏plus winning the ball has made sure tht jai is kept on his toes while choreographing and Sanaya gets back her place as THE BEST ONE this season 😃this month is crucial not only for Sanaya but also for me ..but I am positive everything will settle down well 😛

I'm not surprised seeing colors at no.1,colors all prime time shows doing good in trp where as in SP only old shows r doing good but it realy sad thing that when SP is trying new concepts the indian audience is not intrested to watch it. When Viwers only intrested in OTT drama, supertitious thing n the old gisa pita thing then we cant realy blame the PH n the channel after all its bussiness they also have to earn profit for them.I will not surprised if SP came back with their old concept once again.

Well, all the best.👍🏼 I hope u complete it soon. When you finish it please tell me if there is anything drastically different from the TV series apart from the last scene which is the bestestest scene 😳Austen is way better and I dont mind a slightly sedate pace but this is way too much. The TV series makers did a good job. Its definitely better than the book..
