Finally I finished reading A thousand splendid suns.😃
For the past few years I was finding it very difficult to get through even a single page of a book at times because of my eye sight and at times because of inability to concentrate. Now completing a book with in two days is nothing short of an achievement for me 😆

Coming to the story itself it was like revisiting the history of Afghanistan. It's heart wrenching to see what hundreds of thousands of innocent people of Afghanistan went through.Could these people have avoided this by being a little more assertive? Don't know. 😕

Mariam the protagonist is just as beautiful as Anandi had been and her life was filled with darkness like Anandi'shad been.Except that Anandi had a strong will to contribute towards the betterment of the society like Laila.

Wish they made a completely new show based on this story.

Now I am on to my next book. 😆

im watching SKR again, from Sitaharan..
and ohh

found one more supper hot couple☺️
Meghnad and Sulochna from Siya Ke Ram..Meghnad is basically Raavan's eldest son, he is dutiful towards his father, but his wife has a mind of her own and is extremely fiery..who at every point challenges the practice of rakshasa clan..

as a reference point, Meghnad is Ankur Nayyar who played Gurujee in MRP..

damn he is really hot😳☺️🤪

Me is watching Udaan.
But no more getting attached to any characters or couples for me from me after Anandi,Dsa, Shiv,AnSh and of course choti JaAn. 😆

SKR - More interested in specific portions rather than watching the whole show.

One thing I am watching regularly now is Friends. It airs between 6 and 7 pm also at 9pm.
Then am watching Everybody loves Raymond at 8pm.

But what I'm waiting for is the return of PS and SSG with a new show

yeah IK, the all the time lecturing Sita used to get on my nerves -_- I keep quitting SKR time to time, and watch it when it interests me..
I dont like the Joey-Rachel angle at all which is currently going on😵 it was just not needed..-_- but apart from that, I love the show obviously😳😃

I dint know there were so many Joey Phoebe shippers though😲😲😲 there were so many who wanted these two together..m glad it was one friendship that was left untampered😃😃 they are the besttt crazy people!😆😆

Hi aditi and Halwa😃
Aditi I saw some pics you posted elsewhere.Lovely pictures and lovely place.
Good that you had a nice holiday.

Halwa - Even i'm not liking Joey Rachel thing but apart from that everything else is good.
It has it's emotionally touching scenes too like when Chandler Monica discovered that they had fertility issues.
All in all Friends is a great package of emotional drama with great mix of comedy.

This weekend explored a few shows..
Dahleez - both the actors playing Mothers Meghana Malik as Suhasini Sinha - Natasha as Zubeida are fabulous ⭐️

Tamanna - very moved by Harsh Chaya as the coach..

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi - Didn't know that Raghuvir Shekhawat is also into screenplay.. liked what I saw - especially Supriya Pilgaonkar..

It is such a pleasure to watch serials with strong supporting cast - they just carry the soaps so effortlessly 👏

Good supporting cast means they can connect with the audience to their characters and that means show will have a better chances of having a longer run.Best example is CS.
I haven't tuned into other channels but in Udaan supporting cast is really good. That makes the story so much more interesting.
The girl playing Chakor is right for the part but she is a little inexperienced when it comes to emoting the supporting cast make up for that deficiency.

Raghuvir Shekawat also got into Lima book of records 😆

There was some article about the decline in the quality of content in Hindi fiction.
PS was interviewed. He talked about the reasons why BV stood apart from the rest and he attributed to the decline in quality to the changing tastes of audiences and the channels' eagerness to cater to those tastes at the xpense of quality.

I watched Naagin season finale episode.Still can't figure out why it was so popular.

Bahubali movie CGI were excellent the quality was mind blowing. So it was understandable for it do well.

Naagin even SSK the graphics are of such poor quality how do people watch those ridiculous images is beyond my understanding😕

May be what all these writers say is right.Daily soaps have become staple diet for the semi literate lower middle class people who can only connect with family dramas.

Way back in eighties TV sets were confind to the homes of upper middle class people who could appreciate Hum log Nukkad etc and now the more affluent and educated one person is that many more options are available for entertainment.May be they are right in saying educated people don't turn to TV any more.

So I don't really see quality returning to fiction arena.
