Did any one get to watch Dance + on sitara?? Was reading a review by TOI -- review has given thumbsup to the show that it is pure dance and no masala and third rate jokes unlike the one airing on rangeela

Couldn't watch Sunday's JDJ

Dance + is talent hunt show so it will be pure dance

JDJ put me off on Saturday with Shamita Shetty's sob story.

Sure it is frustrating to live in someone's shadow and her taking part in JDJ is trying to come out of it and make an identity for herself. But it could have been lot more touching if she tried not to use her sob story and people like KJo selling her story to the public.

KJo of all people should know that it's not connections that make but what you can do with the help of those connections.

Today how many remember what movies his father made? In fact his father's name comes up as KJo's father.He made an identity for himself and today he is what he is because of his own work.

The lady in question debuted with a prestigious banner unlike her sister who had towork her way up.So what was the lady complaining about?

Lack of opportunities? Big joke.

Why was she not cast in another movie from same PH?

well Bahubali hangover...well simply love this song ...for its fanalulous visuals but tune and imp lyrics ... Telugu one can't recite but read translation ...esp one with Sanskrit & Telugu mix...

The following is the translation by Kumar Narasimha of the song Dheevara written by Shri Ramajogayya Sastri and K Shiv Shakti Datta. It exhibits the depth and beauty of Indic language poetry. This language is the reason why Indian people are so good at poetry and literature.

1. Dhivara, prasara shourya bhaara The brave persevering one, your bravery is taking you forward.

2. Uthsara, sthira gambheera The one who is leaping higher and higher, who is firm and stable and seriously determined

3. Ugrama, asama shourya bhaava He is strong, and without an equal in the ability/mentality to fight

4. Roudrama, nava bheetirma His anger will cause new fears (in his foes).

5. Vijita ripu rudhira dhaara, kalitara shikhara kathora This is a complex expression seen only in Indic language poetry. The poet is stating that Shivudu is experiencing the intensity of climbing a tough peak, and likening it to the feeling in a hard battle, when you see your enemy defeated, and blood flowing like a rivulet. This is classical Veera rasa.

6. Kulakutara kulita gambheera, jaya virat veera His rough body itself is like a sharp weapon (because he is determined to win). Hail this complete hero of the world.

7. Vilaya gagana tala bheekara, gharjjhadvaara haraa The hero is destructive in the air/sky as well (because he can leap at an enemy from a great height). He can defeat the enemy (simply) with his fearsome roar of war.

8. Hridaya rasa kaasaara, vijita madhu paara haara The poet is saying that he might have been a ferocious warrior (against the mountain) till now, but after his victory, he will become soft hearted.

9. Bhayagaram shav, Vibhava Sindhu These final lines are a form of shanti mantra to calm down his excited warrior state of mind. Killer of fear (form of shiva and Shakti together), Ocean of wealth

10. Supara dhangam, bharana randhi Now content after reaching his goal (end of a tough journey), and that his battle is now over, troubles or injuries are going away.

Sob stories in reality shows even if a reality show starts well, channels fall into the trap of showing sob stories in every epi - there is joke that even Master chef, which is a breezy entertainer in other parts of the world is reduced to a sob story one in India 😊

IGT participants have their own stories of survival, struggle for recognition of talent - but they do not come out as sob stories - atleast in the epis that I happened to watch..is it because their stories are show cased on positive/inspiring lines??
