TV actor Sanjit Bedi, who was famous for playing
Dr Omi in popular TV show Sanjivani', passed away on June 23.
The young actor was suffering from a brain ailment and had been in coma for a while.
Sanjit's cremation was held at 11am today (June 24) at the Chandanwadi crematorium, Mumbai. He is survived by his wife.
Apart from Sanjivani', Sanjit had appeared in various shows like Jaane Kya Baat Huyi', Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman', Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka' and Kasautii Zindagii Kay' among others.
Sanjit Bedi's death has come as a shock for his friends from the TV industry. Actors like Hiten Tejwani, Karnvir Bohra and Kamya Punjabi among others took to Twitter to express their grief over the death.
