Adi, G supplying clothes is not there in KMG or CE. Infact, in CE she does not even call out for G. In Cherusseri Bharatham, Gandhari reprimands Dhrith and the ladies of the court cover P with clothes. Dhrith gets worried and orders a stop to the assault.

What do you think, P at least called G or not? If she didn't was Dhrith worried enough about his wife's warning to stop? I have always wondered why no one ever bats an eyelash at her calling G or mentions it afterward.

Also Drona Vyasa, if you want an alternate version of why Drona attacked Panchal, Mallu MB says there was a 12 year famine in North Panchal where the Bhardwajas lived and Drupad refused to do anything about it and Drona attacked because of that. I personally think that paints Drona in a better light than personal vendetta

kMG says yudhi was born after one full year of gandhari pregnancy. Except this there is no clarity of time frame,,,but we know Pandu marries Kunti and within a few months marries Madri and one month later leaves for digvijaya, which should take at least a year. Few months hunting in forest so totally not more than 2 years when Pandu gets cursed..

When he abdicates gandhari must already be pregnant. And after a year of gandhari pregnancy yudhi is born..

Hence can conclude that Yudhi was born to mata Kunti after not more than 3 years of marriage...

Guys.. I was just going through the last few pages, and I want to say something I feel is becoming a big issue. Whatever be our main motive for the rewriting I think we should DO SOMETHING NEW before everything. The idea of ours is really nice but unfortunately I HAVE to say, we are going exactly like Aryavarta Chronicles.

The GoLI angle (Anu Di and Adi, I guess you all plan to suggest that?) Drona attacking Panchaal, other scenes, and expecially the feel of it is becoming like Aryavarta Chronicles. Even I have certain theories/books which I liked about MB. But we canot bring in our personal liking here.. this is becoming extremely like Aryavarta Chronicles and I don't think that is AT ALL a good idea because firstly, people will accuse us of copying. Secodnly what is point of suggesting the same theories already given by Krishna Udayshankar? I mean I too am not a hater of those books. I don't like them much but I can say certain good and GREAT points about it but that certainly DOES NOT allow me to use the same theories about Arjuna. This is becoming very very pro AC and I think we should stick to original versions of the Mahabharata and not any fiction written about it. This is a new version we are trying to propose I guess?

I am sorry if you are offended... but kindly think of new ideas and angles and not the same old GoLi, and Firewrights and Firstborn. Atleast I am getting the feeling If I see it from the view point of a reader...

Sorry if I offended anyone. Just what to put my best it in and I am really excited about anything related to MB and this is a retelling I am part so I don't want this to become AC.
