Anisha, where are you watching these old episodes? Hotstar or YT? I have all the Sajan scenes downloaded ... but not the full episodes ... I need to watch some of these ... making me so nostalgic for those days ☺️

What date is this scene from?

Lol, Anisha, what did you start off ... I went into a MJHT marathon last night!! 😆 And realised agan how powerful and subtle Sanaya's acting as Gunjan was ... her eyes were amazingly expressive, and had that mix of emotions chasing through within fleeting seconds, so you knew exactly what Gunjan was thinking and feeling ... she was amazing!

Asking again ... anyone watching Ganga on &TV? What do you think about San doing the grown up Ganga role? The show is doing well for a new channel, and because the channel is new, TRP pressure will be less ... the show itself is good so far. My only issue is that the problem itself is a bit outdated ... but maybe not too outdated ... the recent census showed that widows and women divorcees far outnumber widowers and male divorcees in India ... which means that widows and divorced women still find it more difficult to marry again.

Welcome to the MJHT marathon club Diya!!! 😆 I do that sometimes...when I am relatively free I watch like 5-6 episodes in one shot and then get busy and watch none for days...
Sanaya is sheer brilliance as Gunjan! I think Gunjan and Paro would have been much harder for her do, as compared to KKG, because she herself is so much like Khushi. 😆, ofcourse in Khush's case the hardest parts for her would have been the dialogues and the comedy...and she got those bang on!
Coming to Ganga, I think it would be fantastic for San to do the role of a woman who was widowed at childhood. As a role, it will surely challenge her, but again worried about how it will be accepted by urban audiences. People will watch a child widow, but will they watch a woman widowed at childhood with as much interest if it isn't relevant to modern times? Don't know.

Yes ... now when I re-watch MJHT, I'm surprised and impressed all over again as to how beautifully she played Gunjan ... and the nuances she brought into her expressions. At the time I didn't know if I was reading more into her expressions, but now I realise I was not ... she portrayed all the emotions subtly and beautifully ... the very slight knowing smile when Ash is talking to Rohan on the phone, the changing expression when she realises he is not the guy Ash is interested in ... and then the decision to go to the party ... all that was without a single word and only through her eyes.

Now knowing Sanaya for the intelligent actress she is, and the thought she puts into her character ... I realise all those expressions were thought through carefully and portrayed. And she is such a good actress that she was able to convey all the emotions without a single word of dialogue ... just through her eyes.

Regarding Ganga ... I have no idea how they will take the story ahead ... currently it's about the child widow, a little girl left alone in the world and how she battles ahead ... but they will build towards a Sagar Ganga relationship, judging by the names ... and there is already a mystery about Sagar ... Ganga will be fiery and full of self respect ... her character sketch is already interesting.

But you may be right ... how will they take it when she grows up ... will it become a simple love story, or will it be more about the prejudices widows still face. Widows might not face discrimination in terms of wearing white clothes and cutting their hair these days ... but leading a normal life, getting married again are still issues for them. But how relevant it is for a child widow, and how much will it appeal once the child grows up, I don't know.

All this is khayali pulao till we get confirmed news 😆 Kuch toh baat karni hai ... can't spend our time just bashing actors for no rhyme or reason 😆
