Yeah I saw the Fawad-Sanam Baloch promo a few days ago. I'm sure BBC will confirm 😆. A friend of mine who has seen the show said she's surprised they are actually airing Daastan here coz it's a controversial topic and risky. It was named Lakeerein initially and now it's Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam. Why the name change? 😕

Gita I don't want QH to end. They only just started a new story. The show can go on for atleast three months more.

As much as I dont want Qh to end, but I think, the PH gives a royal ignore to QH. It is the hen that's keeping their finances going, and they starve the hen to the point of death. I;m not bothered about saahil reuniting or shaad-sanam/seher getting a good story. But overall, they will lose interest in a few months. It would be great if they can create season1 magic all over again. its the same team. They can if they put their minds to it. But will they is the question?

Or, They can use the rest of the extension period for a fresh story rather than beating about the bush. It must be hard on them, what with all the fangroup's hatred, Channels' interference, Creatives uncreativity, and getting actors first and then retaining them.

Stalkers, please note, I love QH very much and is in no way interested in shutting it down.

Risky, meaning it deals with partition from Pak POV. I guess then they will edit out the inappropriate scenes.

What's with the Zee fascination for Pak? 😆

But thanks to them for ZIndagi channel.

And & got off to a flying start. Ganga, based on a child widow is grabbing eyeballs.

With success of Udaan and Ganga, I'm afraid all channels will scramble for serials with lil girs being the leads.

Child artistes in serials --> Is it healthy? They become mature too soon, they're not able to live their childhood, and the effect on their eduction? Not to mention the unearthly working hours.

Movies and ads are ok since they have a limited period of shoot. But serials completely based on kids?

Stalkers are probably considering KV's exit, a victory of sorts for them which is tbh totally unrelated to their failed mission anyways... which btw will definitely continue till QH ends for totally different reasons 😆.

Gitey, very good topic for discussion 👏.

I do feel very bad for child artists no matter how well they act or how good the show is. As you said an ad film shoot ends in a day or two so it's ok.

The worst are these talent shows. The competition weighs so heavily on the child that it shows . Parents push them like no tomorrow and that's really sad. The kids drop out of schools for a year coz they can't handle the singing/dancing and studies. Every parent would want their child to excel but what is the extent to which they can be pushed/supported and for what kind of situations? E.g. A talent contest in school is a totally different ball game but these talent shows on TV are super taxing and stressful for the child.
