Well the other thread on some other forum was ruined because the lead actor was compared to ...As it was his fault that he got a power packed and male oriented role to perform.

I felt bad for the actor and his supporters.

Actors are rising above the character they play it seems.

Yes sometimes actors do make a character immortal like Amrish puri did for "Mogambo " or Amjad khan did to " Gabbar Singh ."

But Akbar in itself is such powerful persona that it should overshadow the actor .

Why only Akbar even MUZ is a powerful personality in herself.So the characters as historical figures are important than the actors enacting them.

But now people are least concerned either with MUZ or Akbar as their "Akdha" are someone else.

Here Akdha have become lead characters of some mills and boons novel ,where all they have to portray is love ,longiness for each other or even jealousy if somebody comes in between them.

.(Here the discussions of an Emperor jealous due to a mere foodgrains seller were really senseless.As if everybody forgot the couple is matured now and enough other issues are there to tackle.I blame the cvs to bring such love angles for that respected lady.)

Nobody wants to see that these two are emperor and empress of 16th century who had done lot of work together for the betterment of society .

People look at Akbar and MUZ as heer and ranjha or Laila majnu or even Romeo and Juliet and they just forget that Akbar and MUZ are in different league all together ,All others just lived ,loved and died for each other but Ak-MUZ went beyond this and utilized this love for each other in not only flourishing their own personalities by being an inspiration for each other but had major influence on the people around them.

Anyways why to blame viewers it's cvs who never did justice to these historical figures.As I said Ekta got her money with profit ,same with zee and RTPS also got money and recognition but who suffered by this senseless Tamasha are the real ones.All they were insulted rather than any tribute paid to them.

PS :- Abhay if you type Akbar and Mariam uz zamani in google search ,you will see even RT's photo among the Akbar's paintings in "images" and same for MUZ with PS.But if you put Gandhi then there are photos of original Gandhi only ,no Ben Kingsley .Now you know what I mean .

Call me old fashioned ,But I like Pallu to properly pinned up .If you want to really flaunt ,you can wear anything else like gowns and why saris.

Though i have not watched Ekta's shows or any other shows anytime before JA continuously . But, i also think she simply "exploits" the story to make money.

If JA was her DREAM project, it should have been treated nicely.
If some one loves a story then they should give better efforts to see the quality is maintained.

My mom is BT veteran...😆 She has been watching many of EK shows...so I know what you are talking about...
What amazes me is ALL EKs serials have same storyline and still people watch them again and again...

I thought JA would be treated a bit differently, alas...


PS: Do you watch any Marathi shows?? My family watches 'Jai Malhar' religiously...Even a mythological show they have made it another story of two wives...
