Yes that really did. But notice, how Manik did that. He never did that with Shahid and Navya. He went out of his way to do it to Nandini. And he went out of his way to torture Nandini. He had the look in his eyes. Predator

LOL yes his fingers are restless mainly with Nandu only😆...Alya ke saath nahin tha yeh sab...dunno if director did it that way or as usual Mr. Parth came alive only with Niti😆...Alya had this total bimbo smile on her face during her and Manik ke romantic scenes too which just felt so random...I know it was part of the story only to show a disconnect b/w Manik-Alya nahin toh Nandu kahaan se aati beech mein but even then chemistry-wise they were very much just about going through the motions.
There is just SOMETHING about Nandu's guileless innocence contrasting with this twisted, cynical Monster that makes for a compelling story.
Anu, did you watch the part where Manik wants to prepare a "drink" for nandini after he thought Nandini and Harshad broke Dhruvs guitar. The way he lead over her, on the table, in front of everyone, ran his fingers down the length of her arm, I thought to myself that time "he never came that alive with Alya before" 😆
Even yesterday, Manik's laser gaze was looking for Nandini only. He found her earring that he gifted her, and did you notice how he spoke so softly to her, "shhh" that had some bedroom tone in, for sure. In fact yesterday, he didn't once shout at her, just spoke to her so clamly, softly.
Yeah cuz Nandu never had FEAR in her eyes, that instantly set her apart from the others in that first andaa wala scene...the way he asks her again and again, "Are you sure you want to save this Madhubala?" and Nandu just CALMLY replies back, "Yes"😆...well that was it...in that instant she successfully managed to switch his laser focus on to her...baaki Idiot 4 toh followed whatever Manik did...they only jumped in to bother Nandu more when Manik switched focus on to her...she instantly had an ability to instigate more emotion out of him than any other bakras in college did😆
And then we got the punch and BOOM...life changed for Manan forever😆

I'm also wondering if Parth and Niti worked on their comfort level before the show, because I remember an interview of Parth and Niti where niti said she saw him for the first time in the "chemistry/look test" I know actors tend to work on their comfort level, and perhaps Parth and Niti were told to do the same, and hence their feels and intensity coming out.
Yes Alya walked off in a Huff! She was the first one to sense this obsession having being his GF and he never displayed such emotion to her. And also Dhruv, because he knew the real him. Only Cabir and Mukti took alittle more time, although now I think Cabir might have known but he was pre-occupied with his own problems.
LOL you mean the scene after the infamous accidental kiss?😆 Yeah he was being so intimate with her in front of everyone only and Alya was sitting on the side grinding her teeth😆
He was trying to creep Nandu out but twistedly in his own mind by then the obsession had taken hold and he needed to find excuses to touch her too😆
With Alya toh there was no challenge naa...it was a successfully created facade of a comfort zone...Nandu came in and shook up his carefully constructed world of fakeness and gave him many reality checks.

Look test I think is to do dry runs and see how the chemistry will show up onscreen...you can't work on it/manufacture it...Look test is to determine if you even HAVE it to begin with😆...the rest can be worked on...and PaNi had it from the get go...that is what Niti meant by her and Parth just clicking when they have a scene together...the scenes end up being special.
Comfort level toh in dono ka zero hai otherwise😆...so what will they work on...they create chemistry out of discomfort and awkwardness only😆
