LOL I never watched them properly before today to really have an opinion...those first 4-5 epis...I liked the very first epi cuz I watched it in full this time...they build up the characters nicely there...and even Nyo's intro scene with Manik.

But apart from that, I don't like watching these first epis cuz of how disgusting Fab 5 were back then...;..Shahid's humiliation and suicide epis and the dustbin incident...horrible stuff...I only like watching the punch and post punch epis more...lol

I feel like yeh director ke standard instructions hain...cuz even in the NavShad white doves cringe-fest, they were using a lot of wohi typical moves but they ended up looking tacky while Manan make it all look like love😆

Ad if you notice, I went back to look at each romantic scene with Manik and Alya, Manik doesn't use his thumb to caress Alya, for example, Manik uses his thumb to caress Nandini's shoulder, face, ear, hand etc. And he didn't entwine his fingers with Alya, he does it ALOT with Nandini.

To be honest, I like watching the ragging scene of Navya now 😆 That time I didn't but now I do because nothing beats the emotional pain Manik gives Nandini at times.

see the way i started it was like watching a movie..i never had intention to stop it..pata nahi my mind was like that during those days..i hardly knew what the story is about..who the leads are..so i genuinely kept on watching from epi 1 onwards and got hooked it ..that time 64th epi was on air i think..and i finished 64 epis in 2 days and then only i entered the forum coz i was already so addicted to it...

i just enjoyed those 2 days of 64 epis like anything..no discussions..no offscreen..no IF nothing...

I guess it depends on how you come across the show...for my part, I remember now that I did try watching it on my own before Rafi ever told me about it like months later...cuz back then I was watching Fanaah 1 and I remember seeing this show in the list of MTV shows so clicked on it aevein but got so put off by the sight of random "sanskaari" girl running through some old haveli type house😆...I was quite low on patience those days as I generally am...anyways I toh never reached the part of her meeting Manik or reaching Mumbai...fireflies tak bhi nahin dekha...usse pehle hi switch off kar diya😆...and then nothing could convince me to watch it...I was watching other stuff in those days...can't recall what but I had something to keep me occupied😆...only got around to watching this again when every other show was in blahh mode.


Phir bhi it's taken me a while to reach this level of appreciation...lol...cuz I watched just MaNan scenes on first pass...woh bhi not in order😆...and tab jaake when I was all caught up and had to end up waiting for new epis, then I decided to watch old epis punch ke time ke aas paas se...then the forum etc...

Fab 5 were just creepsters...the andaa scene mein Nandu's expression when he thumps the Fab 5 sticker on her face really just makes my heart break for her.

LOL I remember how bored I was, and Catty kept telling me to watch ky2, you want be disappointed. I watched the promo and I was like "bland, boring" and then I watched the storeroom scene, the first thing I watched and I am like "Damn, these two have chemistry"

LOL yes his fingers are restless mainly with Nandu only😆...Alya ke saath nahin tha yeh sab...dunno if director did it that way or as usual Mr. Parth came alive only with Niti😆...Alya had this total bimbo smile on her face during her and Manik ke romantic scenes too which just felt so random...I know it was part of the story only to show a disconnect b/w Manik-Alya nahin toh Nandu kahaan se aati beech mein but even then chemistry-wise they were very much just about going through the motions.


There is just SOMETHING about Nandu's guileless innocence contrasting with this twisted, cynical Monster that makes for a compelling story.

Yes that really did. But notice, how Manik did that. He never did that with Shahid and Navya. He went out of his way to do it to Nandini. And he went out of his way to torture Nandini. He had the look in his eyes. Predator

And then I watched episode 1 to the storeroom like a movie, and it was good. And I hated Alya back then. 😆

Who didn't hate Alya is the real question😆...such a clueless bimbo she was...Manik successfully managed to hide the real him from all his "friends"


Waise does Alya know about Dhruv ke attacks? Did they ever show that clearly?

Anu, did you watch the part where Manik wants to prepare a "drink" for nandini after he thought Nandini and Harshad broke Dhruvs guitar. The way he lead over her, on the table, in front of everyone, ran his fingers down the length of her arm, I thought to myself that time "he never came that alive with Alya before" 😆
