awww u guys study as well as work... I live in India, and here nobody works while studying... Most people do PG especially MBA before actually starting to work... or atleast they graduate and then start working... even then, here life is quiet comfortable... parents are more than happy to bear all the expenses... But i guess ur fees must be too much in University na? Mine was so less... my undergrad fees was like just 4000 rupees for one year... thats like 67 US $... And I used to travel by bus, so expenses were not so much... even my PG fees was not too much... bt ya im sure there toh expenses must be huge... u guys are really studious and hardworking... Goodluck to both of you! 😳

Im myself unable to study...wat tips i shall give u😆

But if u r having problem in concentration, then plug in ur earphones, turn on some music and then start studyng... is lyrics disturb u, then put on some instrumental music...especially something like game music...it really helps build in some concentration😃

Yeah in India you don't have to work until you're finished studying but here we gotta work especially when you're in uni unless of course you're super rich. Even then some kids do help their parents out in work. But yeah most of the uni/college students have to work to pay expenses and all. You can't rely on your parents all the time, right? Especially in a country like Canada where they have to pay mortgage, bills, insurance and all others sorts of expenses.

Oh yeah man. University expenses are so high. A semester fees(which is like 12 weeks/3 months) easily ranges between $4000-$7000 and then textbook costs are so high. I paid around $600 for my textbooks this semester and we are done with week 5 and I haven't even touched my textbooks yet. Can you imagine paying so much for the textbooks you won't even use for 3 months? But Im happy about one thing though...I didn't have to ask dad to pay for my fees or textbooks or even my bus expense. Thanks to my job, I pay for my own expenses. Also, having a job helps you get experience which always helps you in getting a proper job in future. Over here experiences counts A LOT. You better have a lot of experience to get your kind of job. And personally, I feel so great to have a job. I feel independent, responsible and accomplished.

Schools, universities always encourage you to get a job and get experience. They even help you find a job you're interested in be it on school campus or anywhere else u your field. Even in high school to graduate, it's mandatory to have complete 40 hours of voluntary work. And if you have volunteered at a nice place, you can build connections and get a job at the same place. So, I love Canada😎

Yeah music is on. Now I wanna eat candies. If someone can get me candies, I'll happily get back to studying.

Today is my brother's driving test. I hope he clears it and then we all three can have our driving licenses. 😎

Yeah, I do go to UofT..I go to both St-George(downtown) campus and Mississauga campus... I take classes in both campuses... But I'm enrolled as a UofTMississauga student... Aww.. It's nothing like that..Just because you go to UofT, doesn't necessarily make you smart...UofT makes great students but some really rude individuals to be honest because of how they treat you and make you out to be... Instead of making "all-rounder" students, it's a hardcore academic focused school..Its all about just studying and paying tuition... I just chose UofT cause I'm studying Life Sciences and majoring Psychology so that was the best university to go to..And it looks good on a resume after you graduate...Otherwise, I would have gone to McMaster... UofT is a hell-hole where prof's hate you... So yeah.. Don't worry... We can make it through this... Today, my prof cancelled class so I am free by fluke... 😆...

And Tanvi about general labor, that's what I do in summer because they help you make good money. Good hours for few months and regular ones at that. Last summer I did two jobs- the regular one I have right now(in retail) and in a warehouse. It was exhausting doing 50+ hours a week but dude I felt so good after. I could go all out on shopping😆

My goal was to finish logistics by 4 and then customer service in the evening. But guess what? Im still on first chapter for logistics. That's how lazy I am! And Im not on my bed. Im sitting on a couch. That helps, right?😆
