Romantic comedies, eh? I can recommend many - chances are you might have seen many of them but they have great repeat value. Some of them are...as they call it...chick flicks.

- The Holiday (Kate Winslet/Cameron Diaz...Jack Black!!!),
-As Good as it Gets (one of my favs),
-The Proposal (Ryan Reynolds/Sandra Bullock...nice one)
-Aah...Sandra Bullock reminds me of..."Two Weeks Notice"...good comedy with Hugh Grant 😛
-Music and Lyrics (Hugh Grant... And some good music)
-Notting Hill (who doesn't like Notting Hill?!)
-Something's Gotta Give (Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton...not a young romance but a nice rom-com)
-Serendipity (not exactly a comedy but a good romantic one...good music)
-No Reservations (Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart...nice movie about chefs)
-Silver Linings Playbook (great acting there by Jennifer Lawrence)
-Definitely, Maybe (Ryan Reynolds...an enjoyable watch)
-Life as We Know It (Josh Duhamel is sooo 😳... )
-Leap Year
-Enough Said (Julia-Louis Dreyfus and James Gandolfini)
-Bridesmaids
-27 Dresses
-Made of Honor (the delicious Patrick Dempsey ☺️)
-One Fine Day (old movie...George Clooney /Michelle Pfeiffer...good one)

Can't think of any other movies right now. Watch these...you will enjoy them. 😊 Btw..just occurred to me after I had penned down the above list...did you mean romantic comedies from Bollywood..😆..let me think...

u won't believe 😆😆😆...except The Proposals and 27 dresses i have not watched any of the movie 😆😆😆...actually pata nahi...i don't watch movie without being aware of its title name 😛...but all of these looks like something i may have missed before

Kaam par mann nahin lagtaa hai mera... So, while on duty, I watched and re-watched 3 times Tina Fey's latest show: "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt". Tina plays a very short part in the last episodes of the season, and though the show is certainly many a notch below "30 Rock", it was still very entertaining... [Maybe, I'm just biased and incapable of correct judgment when Tina Fey is involved. 😳😳]

Hello... :) I just read last 20 pages of this CC and now I don't remember any of it when I have to respond :P

So wisu, kon se subject me PhD kia hai tumne?

I so feel for the dabbe wala 😒 I had to drop my research goals too. And to this day, it leaves me in tears .

Yaad aya , we were discussing ko kis age me it's easy to date.

I agree that it's difficult to deal with break ups at that age but its fairly easy to confront people. :P which is stupid when I think of it now because one is more vulnerable then :P

And a 🤗 for you Saumya - The Dabbey-wala came by yesterday (finally) to return my dabba. He seemed to be doing okay... We briefly talked about hin giving up on the PhD, and there were no tears... Then we watched "English Vinglish" - I had forgotten how silly that movie is... and at the end of it, he said that the movie was completely screwed up, and that Shashi should have left her husband for Laurent. [I kinda agree too...]

@PhD: In medicine, PhDs are not as stringently regulated as in other disciplines (especially in Central Europe). MD-PhD is a rather quick fix here. 😛
