Instead, I watched "Bobby Jasoos". The film did not receive much praise in the reviews (correctly so), but the Hyderabadi Hindi was so charming... Besides, it had Hansa Parekh (from Khichdi) playing Viday Balan's mother. Both of them were so cute... 😳

I read the review of the episode (somewhere, can't remember) and while the reviewer was apparently very impressed by the sharp writing and the great acting - the people commenting on the review seemed to not agree very much...

And the ex-. There was nothing intended for him. I promptly sent him off after dinner. We were only meeting because after a million years, he finally decided to drop off a few books of mine that were still with him. That done, we'll probably never meet again. 😳

@Dabbey-waley ki sad story: Well, Dabba-wala and I met for the first time outside a meseum. He works as a guard, usher, cloak-room attendant, and whatever else they need him to do at an art museum in the city. He had to do this second job because his research grant (for a PhD in Philosophy) was inadequate. He is also probably the most intelligent guy that I ever dated (but then again one can doubt this because who ever does a PhD in philosophy?!)... Well, anyway... the sad story is that the research grant ran out, and with having to work extra shifts at the museum to earn enough money, he was left with no time to work on the doctorate, and decided at the beginning of this month to quit working on the PhD. The decision was a very hard one, and he had a spell of depression after that...

Ab batao, how can anyone be hard-hearted after hearing this, huh? 😳😳

Haan..."Bobby Jasoos" had a flimsy plot/execution but Vidya Balan's Hyderabadi accent was good besides Supriya Pathak...I thought Tanvi Azmi was wasted in a minuscule role.

@Veep: I really don't know what to say. I thought a lot of things were forced...obviously there are changes in the scenes/framework as she is the President now...but a lot of fun in the previous seasons was derived from the back-and-forth within the core team...and that's changed now. It didn't really give me a sense of satisfaction ...but that might be partly because I have watched the other episodes in a marathon...so a stand-alone episode felt like the sun came out when the pitter-patter of the rain had just started.😳😆
