Yep it's Anu...no it's not just you...something's been bothering me since the past few epis but I couldn't quite put my finger on it since there was so much going on vis a vis offscreen drama too...but I feel you've nailed it...

Since the moment he started getting attracted to her, that is one thing that has been consistent about Manik...the way he looks searchingly into Nandu's eyes as if looking for answers to all the turmoil inside him...

And this just intensified as he fell for her, the hugs, the kisses...

I understand story-wise, Manik is confused, back to his egotistic defensive mode...but those eyes should still betray the emotion that very much exists...Parth used to be able to enact that nuance before...but he seems to have lost his mojo at his vacation😆

@AY - I was on a spree to watch their scenes, the thing is I feel the story has shifted more towards Nandini's POV. Her tears , her emotions seem to have that depth but Manik is all over the place, for me Manik is just not able to get Nandini ,hence the disconnect.

Parth is off too, especially those silly hospital bed scenes. But then he pulls off something like that song and I feel for Manik again for that moment.

The last hug - his teeth spoiled it , but then it was so one-directional, more from Nandu's POV. Unlike the first hug which was absolute because they both understood and were in sync.

His dream sequence on Tuesday that was good, he had the same connection with Nandini then. It was Thursday that he fell abit short of it.

The problem lies with the emotional connect we have with them. Let's put it this way, we would have been equally pissed had it been Niti and some insecure bf of hers' pulling off the same shit as it's highly unfair to your co-star.

And yeah, I can't deny that I feel strangely protective of her. Why? I don't know.

Hello ladies!

Wish, you are so right...that 'look'of Manik is missing in the last few episodes...both Manik's character and Parth's listlessness are showing onscreen...though he still does a better job than most in the acting department, but in the last week specially , Manik was way off compared to his usual standards...

Niti on the other hand has shown a drastic improvement and these days I see her even outshining Parth in their scenes...that Samjhawaan sequence was beauty and post that she has just kept the bar that high...my only complaint is the constant moping for which I have only viku to blame, I want the old fiesty, driven and spirited nandu back.

As for the offscreen drama, I think it's high time Vikas gave them a shout-down and tell them to put their shit together...they shouldn't be on social media if they don't know how to use it. Simple. If they stop washing their dirty linen in public, then automatically all the speculation and gossip will come to an end.

Now that you mention it...yes...the focus does seem to have shifted to Nandu's POV...the last hug was indeed from her POV and then there's Manik's hand problem too...so the hug cannot be the way it was the last two times...they need to fix his hand soon.

I'm not saying Parth is TOTALLY OFF...he did well in the Alvida song sequence and the group scenes...but considering how this guy's entire BEING used to quiver with emotion when it came to Nandu, it seems weird that he's being all whatever right now...and when he's like that, I see Parth more than Manik...

The way they are showing him these days, it's like the past 3 months never happened only...if you take out the history b/w them, this is pretty much what Manik was like when the show started😕😕...closed off from the world except for his friends.
