Shenaz Treasury's bold open letter to Modi and the other powerful men in the country has landed her film Main Aur Mr. Riight in a sticky situation.
The film faced severe screen crunch as most multiplexes are now afraid that backlash to her views might lead to staunch saffron supporters vandalizing their properties. The film that released this Friday was promised 459 screens but the film has actually released on 300 screens only. Producer Pooja Gujral confirmed the same and added, "It's strange that despite no big movie releasing along with it, we've still got the afternoon shows only."

Though Shenaz's letter garnered support from most quarters but many sections have taken offense to Shenaz's brutal comments. The film on its opening day saw a weak box office response with its first day occupancy being restricted in the measly range of below 10% bracket.
The film that stars Shenaz along with television heartthrob Barun Sobti, is not making the noise it should have given Barun's star-power and fan following. He seems to be the worst victim of the situation because an actor of his caliber couldn't have seen a more underwhelming Bollywood debut. '
