Normally, an actor is paired with one or two heroines in a TV show. But Shashank Vyas, who plays Jagya in Balika Vadhu, has been paired opposite as many as seven actresses in the show so far. Reason " the show's ever-changing tracks and replacement of heroines.

Aasiya Kazi is the latest actress he will romance on the show. The actress has replaced Sargun Mehta who played his wife Ganga. Geetanjali Mishra will complete the love triangle. The latest replacements take Shashank's tally of co-stars to nine. One might remember that Shashank was originally paired opposite Pratyusha Banerjee (Anandi) in the show. Pratyusha was later replaced by Toral Rasputara.

The show then introduced the character of Gauri, which was initially played by Anjum Farooki and later, by Deblina Chatterjee. Shashank was even paired with Roop Durgapal (Saanchi) who played his obsessive lover and Sriti Jha, who originally essayed the role of Ganga.

Ask him about the continuous change in co-stars and Shashank says, "It's not funny that due to different circumstances, the Gangas and Anandis get replaced in my life. I have had to develop a romantic connect with nine heroines, which is not easy at all. Just when you have developed a comfort level with an actress, she either gets replaced or some other track comes up. I don't agree with actors who say that they don't talk to each other and yet develop a chemistry on the show. I can't do that."

This man deserves credit for making the pairing with all these actresses look very convincing.That says a lot about his professionalism and acting talent

With the two Anandis two Gauris his chemistry on the screen is just fabulous and with Sargun it looked very much closer to the teenage JA chemistry and even with Sanchi he looked so good.

The only time it was disappointing was with SJ.I expected them to sizzle on the screen.Somehow it just didn't happen😕

New Ganga we have to see how they shape up.

Chemistry doesn't need only romantic scenes to come out.The connection between the characters/actors can come out even in an ordinary scene.😛😆

That BH scene before A's departure to Udaipur was one of the most emotionally gripping and intense scenes

The one where he agrees to marry Sanchi and that eye lock between A and J

Then the scene where he comes to break up the engagement with Sanchi

All of them were just too good

not to mention the dream sequence during Holi😆

I liked SJ - SV pairing more than SM - SV.

S/how, SM - SV pairing was not at all enticing...it was way too plain, drab and boring for me...It didn't touch me at all..

Agree 😃

SJ SV pairing better ... in fact perfect pain rustic aggression deep pain that connects them 😛

later on its plain blank lost connectivity no emotions just stand tall ⭐️
