@ Arya yes I remember plus it was weird that a Dr. actually gave Shuraya the timescale advice of how long he could function with slit wrists!

@ Pallavi that is vile. I remember is SJ Amir Khan confronted the medical head of Dr's about negligent and criminal acts. He quoted how many Dr's had been dismissed and lost their licences in the UK, US and Canada in the last 10 years and stated that not one had been dismissed in India!

He further argued how that could be possible as India had so much proof of malpractice? He then near enough forced the guy to acknowledge that the whole system was rotten to the core.

I don't disagree that it is not realism. Many shows begin with an idea that stems from something that happens, miscarriage of justice, child marriages, kidnapping etc. However when the writers write certain scenes where certain things happen why do they not stick to as closely as possible, yes they are allowed to tweak it a bit, as it would happen in reality? In the case of EHT Sakshi could have gotten hold of Dayal's certificate or even faked one! Not just look beautiful etc.

Personally I find when reality and fiction is weaved in nicely then it makes me appreciate the writer more and sit up and watch the show more attentively.

@ Yes Pallavi I agree TV shows should show people battling a corrupt system and winning. I wish EHT had shown Payal's re-trial and with Durga's aide her emerging triumphant.

I second that. They should show people succeeding. Not just stuck in limbo. Yes cases run for years at time but no one is above the law.

@ Arya I know; how awesome would it have been to see Payal tearing shreds out of Shuraya in a courtroom?! It would have emphasised in her and Nitya's case that 'what can't kill you can only make you stronger'

To see Shuraya humiliated, spurned and abused whilst Payal and Durga who should by all rights have been the 'broken ones' ride of into the sunset; might have given victims of such abuse by the rich and powerful the voice to speak up.

The only thing I would like is for the writers to do research on the subject and tweak it to make it dramatic.

But in EHT all they show is that Everyone in Kolkata are afraid of the Goenka's or bowled over by Shakshi's beauty and do absolutely the opposite for what they were trained to do.

These are present day serials which should have some logic and not some pure fiction where one can stretch the truth to suit the story.

This show had too many blunders for someone to have had spent four years developing this so called thriller.

@suki: I think Payal's rape case will be reopened in the last week of the show when the 4 rapists will be brought to justice.

If Shaurya does try to rape Durga he will be caught red-handed, in court Kangana, Karan's mom who is repenting can both testify, Mathur can testify and if Durga gets her hand on the rape MMS then nobody can save the 4 rapists.

Yes, I would love to see Payal confronting those 4 savages in court, Durga confronting Shaurya for Dayal's murder, Dev confronting Rajnath for his dad's murder 25 yrs ago...but will the writers fulfil our wishes??

The writer seems to be in love with Sakshi and Shaurya and will go on making them win till the last few episodes.

The writer being a male doesnt think a rape victim can recover her mental strength and face her rapists in court a 2nd time.

He doesnt think a woman like Durga can wreak vengeance on her enemies without male support and help!

He doesnt even think that a lethal woman like Sakshi can kill a person with 100% success. 😆 She shot Raima on her shoulder, she failed to kill Akram twice, I dont know if she or Rajnath killed the Mitras but she failed to kill the Bagchis too.
