Did you see Kill Dill/Bang Bang trailers ? I think I have always seen movie trailers and now seeing MAMR gives me so much happiness. These days whenever I log into IF, I am checking if there is MAMR trailer and I always click on it. Full on nayan sukh.

First I have to say I am totally overwhelmed by that IndiaTV trailer review, simply because it is momentous, another milestone crossed. The first official review of any of Barun's work (trailer hi sahi). And such a positive one too, how great is that. Cant wait for the day when his movies are reviewed by the big guns.

Second, I am also overwhelmed by the outpouring of wishes from all his friends and associates. Yes it must be happen for everyone, but the way the messages are worded is really heart warming (like Daljeet's). Somehow this guy seems to make a positive connect with anyone he comes in contact with, for all that he's not a very expressive person himself and never says pretty things like other stars do! I feel that inexplicable positive vibe will be picked up by the movie audience too.

And third, I feel a quiet delight about how our faith has been redeemed. Whether MAMR will be a hit or how successful Barun will be, we still cant say (though the signs look so good right now) coz there are too many variables out there, luck being a big one. But Barun has proved himself with whatever is in HIS control - his acting and his choice of work. I'm confident now that whatever else he will never fail us in these 2 things. I'm so proud of him and proud that our faith was not misplaced.

Totally agree with you. It is so overwhelming to see the best wishes pouring in from Daljeet, Shaleen, Raquesh, Sadan Pande(this guy was the costume designer for Barun in 22 yards and might have worked with him only for 10 - 20 days). Barun has really a positive connect with the people he has worked with. He must be one of the most bashed persons on Social media by bashers but look at the way people talk about him in media and everywhere else - Full of respect and adoration. That is what counts not a few bashers bashing him day in/day out.

I am really happy that MAMR is releasing and so far it looks like the trailer has caught people's eye. MAMR has long been a bashing excuse for all the bashers so I am really hoping that MAMR makes decent business so that once and for all the people will lay off Barun and MAMR.

agree with both of u, and i loved what u said Kalyani (btw u have a really pretty name, but i love Serendipity too 😛) i'm still absorbing all of it, the sweet dil se tweets from friends, from costars and creatives who worked with him for 30 days or less, and from various media people, it's very overwhelming for us to see so imagine how Barun feels. when i was tearfully reading that review i was waiting to see if there was a 'but ...' and there wasn't one. it was an honest review from an experienced site which has nothing to gain or lose from it, and it was so positive. it was the first time i truly believed that the people who r still commenting on him leaving ipk and begrudging him for it have become obsolete. and this realisation was cemented for me by the response on the bw forum where neutral people have mostly liked it or had nothing that bad to say 😃

The fact that Barun can do different characters with such ease makes us all over the top greedy .. making us all imagine him in different avatars and wanting him to do all kinds of roles and bag lots of acclaim for his work. How wonderful it will be if he gets the roles that his creative instinct urges him to do. Just wish this is the start and Bollywood's creatively talented people consider him when they have a good script in their hands. I seriously don't desire for him to work with only the big banners becoz of the uninteresting content coming out of them. I am sure there are plenty of bw's names who have produced good stuff and I just hope he gets to work with them.
