Ratings highlights: Colors only Hindi GEC to post viewership gain in Week 45

MUMBAI: Colors was the only Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) to post viewership gains in the week ended 8 November. While Life OK, Zindagi and Sahara One maintained their last week's tally, the other channels in the genre shed viewership. Colors added 29 GVMs (gross television viewership in million) in week 45, according to TAM data (sourced from subscribers) in the Hindi-speaking market (HSM).

Life OK became No. 4 while SAB slipped to fifth position after losing 22 GVMs in the week. Star Plus lost 45 GVMs but continued to stay at No.1.

Here is how the Hindi GECs performed:

Star Plus remained at the top with 610 GVMs, down from 655 GVMs in the trailing week.

Colors was at No. 2 with 486 GVMs, up from 457 GVMs.

Zee TV was at No. 3 with 394 GVMs, down from 405 GVMs.

Life OK was 4th with 305 GVMs, same as last week.

SAB was at No. 5 with 285 GVMs, down from 307.

SET was at 6th with 245 GVMs, down from 285.

Zindagi was at No. 7 with 31 GVMs, same as last week.

Sony Pal was No.8 with 31 GVMs, marginally lower than previous week.

Sahara One was at the bottom with 10 GVMs, same as the previous week.

Life OK refreshes Savdhaan India' as it reaches 1000 episode mark

The show is set to undergo an overhaul and will return with a new season Savdhaan India- Fight Back Now' from Nov 17

Over its journey of two years, Life Ok's flagship crime docu-drama Savdhaan India' has set a strong foothold in the crime genre with riveting depiction of real life incidents. The show, which launched in April 2012, went on to complete 1000 episodes on November 12. Completing the feat in just over two years, it has become the fastest television show to reach the 1000 episode mark. From alerting viewers, to inspiring them and showcasing the 100 best fight-backs in its past season, the show has implemented various innovative initiatives to reach out to the viewers and encourage them to fight against crime.

At the completion of 1000 episodes, the show will undergo an overhaul and return with a new season Savdhaan India- Fight Back Now'. The new season will capture the current mood of the nation where people are agitated with increasing incidents of crime around them, and cannot take it lying down anymore. The show aims to empower its viewers through gripping stories of common people of India who have faced crime and emerged victorious. Fight Back Now' is all about the determination of the victims to overcome difficult situations and defeat the criminals.

While Sushant Singh and Pooja Gor will continue hosting the show, there'll be two new faces in the next season - popular television actors Sidharth Shukla and Shweta Tiwari, who will host the weekend segments.

With its new season, Savdhaan India' continues its effort to make India a crime-free country.

Savdhaan India- Fight Back Now' will start from November 17, and will be aired from Monday to Friday at 10.30 PM.

Baghban - Don't want to say anything about it except that it is arip off of an old black and white Telugu film made by a famous PH down south.

It had a fairly young N T Rama Rao playing the role of a grandfather while he was still in his forties😛 and Sridevi playing his grand daughter.😆

So Colors is sustaining itself at No 2.

I think in June we saw that interview from Rajnayak saying that his channel will bounce back to No 2 and we were wondering how he would do it and it looks like he did it😆

Like the wideing gap between no 2 and no 3

Coming to BV have no hopes except that it remains stable.The way they are trying to push this Gehna Niranjan track down the viewers throats nothing not even loads of AnSh romance or Snow White's herogiri can counter the ill effects of that track.🤢

Let's see it is all family drama and Silly's drama and less of AnSh
