The animation thing is really weird for CS6, and I can't load the pictures for some reason. How do you make them? With a video or pictures?

I use CS5 extended so it shouldn't be really different. I make gifs with videos!

Click on 'file' (not sure if it's 'file' :s click on the 1st option from the top extreme left panel :P) and there in the drop down box you'll see ''Import'' . From that, select ''Video frames to layers''

Then choose the video. A box will open. Press shift and drag the slider of the video to select the part you want to make a gif on (limit frame seconds to 2 if you want less number of frames or if the portion you want to make a gif on is small, you can de-select (not sure if a word like that exists but whatever you got me :P) the limiting frame thingy :P
