the last time they showed such obsession, was very early - Teepri's for Bhairon - actually G1 as Anjum also did a fab job as J obsessed...

Anjum did a great job so would have Shanky had they followed his obsession post transfer to Udaipur.

They messed up J's obsession for revenge and reposession by coming up with weird tracks like chapathi chori and that rail ghotala and the worst of all Jamnesia 🤢😡

They could have shown it thru better tracks

Same thing after J's redemption and A's confession of love to Shiv they could have used his obsession for A and his responsibility towards Ganga as two things pulling him instead of crappy Sanchi drama🤢

Yes, they should have shown J obsessed with Anandi...at that point of time I/o stupid Sa drama.

But anyways, now the obsession is totally different...its the obsession of an "artist" for the object of his imagination. Quite different from a normal obsession...and more entertaining to watch than an average man getting obsessed for a woman.

Glad they have taken this route.

Keeping my fingers crossed , they will handle the track w/o any loopholes...and not waste the performances of the actors.

BV - these characters- Anandi, Shiv, Jagya, Gauri are such well written and well thot of characters...somehow, some or the other character, always reminds me of these 4😛

such fireworks could happen with convolutions in these four lives...

CVs lost of lot of potential over time in diluting and introducing faltu characters like Sa and DB...and even Ganga for that matter...

painter babu's look is interesting👍🏼 duhh! how can people talk bakwaas about harsh😡😡😡😡 harsh is an awesommme actor👏...call him "uncle" for all I care...his performance will speak for himself⭐️ and lol people will watch it also and then bash it😆 such is the irony of claiming to not watch a show since 1 March 2013 and then knowing the minutest details about it 😉

fawad has bagged his second movie here...its a directorial venture of delhi belly writer...and is said to be intense drama with comic elements...UTV movie production again

and he is also starting with a pak movie...in a bunty babli-ish role...

talking of fawad...m reallly liking his humsafar as its going..its really the depiction of interpersonal relationships and every character has a reason for his or her behaviour...I dint expect two bit from this show - thot its typical saas bahu...maybe thats why m surprised with how its executed...asher according to me is a grey character really sofar...confused...cold and clueless towards the affection of his best friend, brash when it comes to marrying a "backward cousin", a mama's boy who goes and does chugli to his mom and weak with making his standpoint in front of his father - basically the plot is set early only when it comes to him being manipulated later on...uff the direction is remarkable...cant get enuf of how some shots have been panned - its definitely not a superhit by fluke - the emotional content is very strong, even though storyline is strictly average for a better word of it...but its very gripping IMO...in a way till now I can understand farida...she comes across as a headstrong woman, career oriented, protective mother...but like fawad said in behadd "duniya mai koi bhi jazba hadd se zyada badh jaaye toh nuksaan pahocha tha, chahe woh pyaar hi kyun na hoo..." its baseerat who is the most unreasonable sofar...ofcoz that will change once asher and khirad start liking each other😆

can this obsession of artist for his object - be claimed as clearly lust filled one...coz he has fallen for her beauty right?

I cant wait to see how this would be brought up in BV...an artist is totally a person lost in his dreamland...its an interesting concept to evaluate that...he could really make A's life difficult due to his craziness...

Humsafar - yes...I've started watching it with a critical mind...knowing its gonna be a saas bahu saazish...never had any high expectations, just started watching for TP...😆

But I could not ignore it totally - in spite of its predictable story line.

Asher - Khirad 's story , the way its been handled is very nice., can take liberty to say, its beautiful

The girl., may be her performance is not awesome, but yet you get to 'feel' for the girl...

and the regular usage of that beautiful title track- it just up's the emotional quotient of the show ⭐️

The title track says it all 😳

Obsession in BV shd good they choose Fab actor need good screen play... Some dhansu lines ...

Wish to see Over protective and bit possessive Shiv... Anandi first confused then scared finally strong determined...facing all

lets see expectations are sky rise... Hope CV won't pour cool water

absolutely...khirad - it really moved me when she felt that she was being forced into someone's life...and then her overhearing his conversation with some friend/ cousin...poor thing..I think mahira isnt so bad...she is doing well enuf for khirad...what I liked is her makeup and dressing too...her intro scene, she looks quite fresh...in the next epi...she is made to look tired and slightly shaken up coz her mother is suffering, so even if they dont give tons of scenes of her tending to her mother...there is a feel that khirad hasnt slept nights to look after her mother...

sara...is another character I really find very interesting...even though her first encounter with khirad was quite scathing...what wrong did she do, if she expected asher to like her back the same way...I mean in the first epi he had complemented her na for looking pretty and all...and their conversations had that ease and comfort level...

asher and baseerat are at the moment on my hit list 🤣

I was just talking to a coleague of mine. She doesn't have a TV or rather taken off the cable connection because she couldn't have control over the content her kids are getting to see in her absence.

We have such long working hours and kids are left with maids and they end up watching what ever daily soap the maid watches🤢

So so many of my friends and colleagues have done away with cable/dish TV.

I was telling her about Udaan she chided me for watching shows on such depressing subjects.

She knows I watch BV and I was telling how they compared and contrasted three BVs Anandi Ganga Gauri and Anandi DS interactions based on ideolgy and perceptions of life she just had one thing to say - The writers must be awesome to come up with a story like BV.😃

Now I realise what an awesome writing it is - just everything fitted into family drama format but the characters and their ways of looking at life the way they deal with things brought out so much drama in the story without resorting to kitchen politics bitching plotting and planning👏

The four characters A,S,Dsa J and G are such awesome characters every show or a movie I watch i reminded of these characters.They have actually become reference points for me.
