No onam is actually 10 days

starts from tomorrow- we will put pookalam for ten days-

vacation for 10 days also-

last day is thiruvonam

well its consider Ganapati came to live with us for ten day 😛

We invite Ganesh to bless us so he came only for ten / seven / five or even one & half day in some home as per as tradition

then Lokmanya Tilak made this home festival as Social Gathering to used against British

other wise Bringing Ganesh home its oldest tradition 😛 why only in Maharashtra no idea...😆

Ganapti came then his sis... that's Jeshtha Kanistha 😛
