Did you read the Shobha De article? Sums it up very nicely.

Yesterday was pretty hectic and tense. But now she'd much better, I kinda kept on telling her that she has to get well, actually it's my birthday tomorrow and if she wasn't keeping well, I would cry.

And the next moment she sat up on the hospital bed, begging the docs to give her a discharge as she was really fine. 😆

I have opened the link in another Tab, I'll just go and read it now.

So do you guys do any thing special on Independence day in UK? Like we in US used to have a li'l celebration. All those of the Indian Community in our circle would gather at some place wearing all Indian ethnic dresses, play songs have snacks and all.

Do you have something similar in UK?
