I am intrigued by all the baware discussion...am now wondering whether to bite the bullet...or just be brave and resist...coz past experience says that all sabuns no matter how they start are eventually hanikarak for mansik santulan...

Don't worry on that BIraj. The TVTs are very low and even with the low TVTs the PH has not jumped gun and changed the story line. So mostly this show won't go the satyanash way but the PH will tell the story off and then close the show because LifeOK has lot of shows that are coming up. I think this show is a very low budget show so the channel is also not bothering so much into TVT and trying to jump-start the show by their usual tracks. Mostly I think this show will end by Dec end.

Rabba weekend ve..

Biraj it is one the better soaps in a long time.. almost a throwback to the old DD days. I personally feel the earlier episodes were a different league. It has quite a few of us tuning in with unknown leads(at least for most of us) minus hawt chemistry
😛, brooding hero with mommy/daddy issues and kitchen politics We can all collectively blame Shoomie once she is back as she introduced it to satyanashers. Watch one episode when the going is good.

Totally agree with you, Shoomie and then Visiji are to be blamed and also the shooting at authentic Lucknowi locations were the icing on the cake. And bold part is so true. I personally think I am done with the angry brooding hero with past baggage and chirpy over the top bubbly heroine and this show is such a refreshing change. Only thing is the show hardly has any repeats and so it is always record and watch.

Rabba Itwaar Ve sahelis,
Watched A Hundred Foot Journey last night...a very enjoyable two hours! Despite all the Disney-esque sanitation of the original book, the humour was contagious...and then of course there were Om Puri and Helen Mirren...a complete delight, as always.👍🏼 Do catch it if you can.
Agree with all on Baanwre...and this could be the explanation for NM's absence from his sutradhaar duties. Missing his touch. Hope he comes back soon. Appears that this story has at least some autobiographical elements.

A very bleary eyed dipsy wondering why noone (cough...sav, visi, shoomie...cough) did not force her to watch baawre from the beginning?????😡
It will probably take me couple of weekends to catch up. But these are not the episodes where one can rush thru to catch up the story.
Biraj, if you are going to fall, I suggest you start from the first episode and not midway like I did. I still fell hard, but the initial episodes have a charm of it's own. And where is that petition for bring back Sutradhar? His musing is what takes the show to a whole new level⭐️

Visi, what is about the leads/story from your seher again???
And I am truly ashamed to say, I had not heard of NM before this show and had to google him first.😳 Now I am trying hard not to click on the links to listen to his radio show. But know will not be able to hold off for long. Anyone gave those a shot already?

I did not realize his wife's name is Yamini 😲 Things one finds out thanks to God of all things internet - the search engines 😃

Humaare sheher ki baat hi kuch alagh hai, Dipsy jaan!!😃

Don't feel bad about NM...I too had not heard his shows, even after hearing of them. And this despite his Mum and mine being college buddies! So der aaye durust aaye being name of the game, happy catching up😊

What makes this different from IPK in terms of the Lucknow connection is strangely enough, the language. Baanwre is so much what I grew up with...while IPK was more dialects-centric, specially Nani, Buaji and Mami. Nikumbh-Azam conversations are so wonderfully similar to how we (friends, cousins, siblings) spoke.
