Firstly, it'll take away whatever positivity is there in the show and secondly ZaYa will never be able to overcome this...how can they possibly get over this? It's too much too handle.

exactly if Usman dies there will be two hurdles between Zaya that would cause them to drift apart

1) Suri's insult and humiliation and of course for getting beaten up

2)Usman's death

which means a LONG seperation. some people are saying that they are excited as it'll be like the beginning when they hated each other and they think zaya will kitkit that way again..i don't think so..for some reason i don't see it happening..because now this is pure hate from Zain's side..and his reasons are very deep!!!
