over-confidence costs a lot...it takes a lot to be able to digest success and maintain cool head around it...yes everyone works really hard...even the actresses I dislike do - sanaya, DD etc...but nothing is bigger than the show...and audience is the king...if BV had to tank...it would have shut shop ages ago...just like IPK...yes the trps are not what they used to be - but one has to look at the relativity...today the Number 1 show also doesnt get trps of 6+ - its come down to 4.5 right? - there is plethora of shows, and lots of channels cropping up...urban folks preference keeps changing...so audience is getting divided...there is room for all types of shows now, and still - colors is associated with BV more than any other show...BV and colors are just synonymous...m glad they started with gauri story...and I hope they give a decent end to it - instead of stretching it forever...

more than BV...I still remember what had happened then...madamjee had proclaimed immediately after whatever mess it was, that she is bored of ghagra cholis and ghani khammas and is looking forward to coming in a new show with modern look on a show inspired from khoon bhari maang...and that time I was new on IF and the first one to post on IF that the show she is coming back in is called daag and is a rip off of KBM and even wished her luck for it...coz genuinely I thot that it is no crime to move on and try something different - her life, her choice...and it seemed a good decision to go for a different type of drama...but that doesnt mean that the replacement deserved senseless bashing just coz the fantasies of SR scenes with a pair dint get fulfilled - that show is today called "ek hasina thi"...and if someone was professional enough - then it would have been her in that show - not sanjeeda...and today the show is doing well...and she got thrown out due to money issues and or drinking problem and not reporting for look tests on time...how m I supposed to respect someone when she doesnt respect her own profession?

no show stopped without her...she lost two big ticket shows - kept shooting her mouth off on her getting movies and shows and comes back in BB? with the same channel who was accused to have thrown her out and wants to still be a part of cheap reality show like BB...sometimes I dono, whether it is her age which is responsible for such immature statements and choices or the company she kept or her loser ex-boyfriend...it just sucks to see someone - who we all watched for 3 years throwing it all away...and the world blaming everyone else but her for what she lost...

I love Sakshi Tanwar, from her 1st show days. Find her really classy. I used to follow her show and not the Tulasi one. Used to hate the Tulasi one. Saw some of the Bade Achche Lagte Hain till the point it followed their initial storyline. Once they decided to stretch it and the story went everywhere, I stopped.

When you have love and dedication for your craft, you have worked hard for it and have seen ups and downs in your career, you tend to appreciate what you have more. There are channels coming up, new shows coming up, new actors rising in the ranks and many old actors hardly without work.

But when some people receive fame and recognition on a platter, they drown themselves in it and start thinking that this fame is their birthright and everyone should kow-tow to them. There are scores of examples in history mainly from the entertainment industry. Singers, actors, entertainers who start thinking of themselves as larger than life.

Couldn't fathom at all. Was this the same person I was rooting for when she was in BV. Since I was not on the forum at that time, don't know the reaction here, but in this show she looked so listless and expressionless. As if life has been sucked out from under her.

And then she was weeping at something. Anyway could not watch her for much longer, as her persona was quite 🤢.

Then was introspecting as to what worked with the audience. And realised that it was the desire to get revenge against Jagya for the wrongs he did to Anandi, which really worked. The desire to see him squirm was stronger than anything else.

Truly speaking, it is Jagya and his misdeeds against Anandi that made the serial tick. Audience does like its women to get revenge from erring menfolk. Long after Shiv entered Anandi's life, Jagya kept creating havoc even until the day of their wedding.

The audience was being kept at tenterhooks. Will she marry, won't she. This is what kept us hooked. Not any chemistry, physics or biology between that Shiv and that Anandi.

And once the marriage took place, everyone heaved a sigh of relief and went about doing their daily chores.

Ultimately STORY IS KING, QUEEN, PAWN, EVERYTHING!!⭐️

After watching Anupam's show yesterday, was just thinking how lucky the younger star cast of BV are-- 3 NSD graduates with fab acting experience to learn from...No wonder the epis of BV from 2008-2010, which focussed on these three are so strongly etched in viewers' memories..
