I had a big poster of hers in our room...and even sketched her with my very average drawing skills 😆

I even tried to learn German a bit - self help - 😲😆

Boys / Men - Tennis players - I never had any idols - Though I used to like cool , calm ways of Edberg 😳😆

After their Era - liked Federer of the next lot..

Women - didn't have any particular favourites after Steffi...🤔

My all time favourite is John Mc Enroe. Loved his tantrums on the court. He had character.

Yesterday had Roger not been playing, I would have rooted for Novak. Roger Federer just has a bit of edge over him.

Just felt bad that Novak, since he eventually won, did not win the fourth set. Had he done so, at least I could have gone to bed an hour earlier.😃

Loved watching Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, Steffi play. Though Steffi was never my favourite. I had a thing against Germans till about 10-12 years ago 😃. Now I love them.

Btw Me too a big pankhi of Jhon McEnroe at that time. In fact I started watching tennis despite being a cricket fan because of him.

McEnroe and Bjorn Borg Wimbledon finals are still in my memory. 5 hours long late night matches with occasional glimpses of Lady Diana were a treat to watch for me. ❤️

McEnroe , Borg, Landal ,Corners all were stars in those careless day. 😊
