at points it got annoying, and what bothered me the most was Hina how Sikanders mom did not say anything or take her side when she went through the same thing instead said thats a ritual in the family.
Excuse me HITTING A WOMAN IS NOT A RITUAL AND WILL NEVER BE A RITUAL

Me too, i am so thankful to Allah for this as well as providing me with such wonderful parents and family.

I'm happy that you guys are blessed with such parents and family however, the world has not changed a bit. Women still are ill treated, abused, raped, murdered, and all this is just as prevalent as it was years ago. Yes we can stand on our own two feet now but even for that we shunned and deemed as evil people for stepping out of the norm, there still exists sexism and injustice towards women in education, the work force, at home, anywhere, you just have to see it and you'll se how prevalent it still is.

Sorry I don't mean any harm or disrespects towards you guys, just wanted to share some things I learned.

Its a whole different thing to read and hear about this stuff, and to actually see it happening infront of your own eyes.
I have seen helpless women like these in Pakistan, in my own relatives. There was one who had no parents and her aunt wasnt ready to take her back. My mum had to convince her to take her back as she was being treated badly at her in laws.

It applies to people who tolerate bad behaviour and do nothing about it.

Hina the worst is when they are taken back and are treated worse than the doormat in your house. ATM you want to do nothing but kill yourself.😕

Well thats reality for you. There are some women who are so weak and they are taught to believe that their husband has the right to beat them😡
