She looks like she could be the perfect grown up version of Anandi
I am sure her looks played a big role in getting her the part.

Akshat Gupta...her previous show lead...
Just like current leading man here too gossip both did not see eye to eye...
But He attended her Wedding Reception. So gossip about her being not friendly is common for her

Not just traditional costumes it is the entire look that fits in with a girl who grew up in interiors of Rajasthan that's why I said she looks the part.
When leap happened in BV I was actually expecting Anandi to look something like this.😊
I heard of Ajai Sinha - he is supposed to be a good director

So true...girl grew up in interior of Rajasthan but educated smart. She has strong screen presence esp when her co actor got towering personality.
Ajay Sinha yes like Sailaab Astitva ...strong story feminist types
later on he makes some stupid serials even Kesariya begining was good...Two sister ...one had burnt mark on face and another one is possessive

I didn't watch BV for quite some time after the leap.
Anandi became too giggly and silly per me.
the story too has become almost stereo type love story - portrayed by two 'raw' actors.
to me, it didn't remain the same show that I was attracted to , some how.
used to catch episodes here and there, just to keep up to date with the progress in the story.
and then Gowri entered, Anandi began to gain some lost substance - and me too went back to almost regular viewing.
