Yea I generally have decent tolerance for characters like Aastha ... I can ignore them . But how do I when she is in every pillar and post? In whole of todays episode I liked one sentence by Shlock .. when he said 'meri kavya ... ' liked how he has started claiming his relations again, he used be restrained before.
I think it will end by Aug ... one year completion and drop! Well good... anyways ratings dont like Aasthu rule and neither do I
I have been having this feeling from past 1-2 weeks that the show is about to complete soon too😕, that could be the answer for the rushing of the important parts like Shlok's past and NA's truth; both seem abrupt.
I too have decent tolerance level but if the script goes out of hand then I don't care and stop watching it ..my experience with movies 😛. I have never missed an epi of EBP but over last 2-3 days do not even want to watch it, leave skipping parts of epis which I was doing from past 1-2 weeks. I feel all the characters have lost charm, not just one have retained it.
The shows I watched before were Bomkyesh Bakshi, Adalat kind of series in Hindi shows ...just because those get done is 1-2 epis for a case and I don't have follow the story line, I used to watch the Law & Order too before ...so. When Tina mentioned Farmaan, I remembered it , I think I watched it during school days because it was kind of like 'pride & prejudice', but I guess not all epis like EBP now. She also mentioned the name of the novel somewhere in the thread.
Well ..my first ever social drama in hindi shows which I followed so diligently and the cast deserve accolades for all the hard work they put in. It had romance, suspense, a li'l bit of drama imbibed in it. There is SPA coming up and hope they win some awards at least.
What ever I had glimpses of other dramas till now were lofty, loud or garish ..but this particular one was really unique ... is what I felt in the beginning...and it was till Swathi's story started to unfold. Just imagine joining the forum because of the love of the show. What I loved is the subtle portrayal of some characters(NA, Anjali,Kalindi), grey shades of characters(Shlok). The heroine, hero were never like paragon of virtue ...loved them with all their flaws. Astha was sweet ,with big heart but immature, impulsive. ...but wonder what made the CV's to turn things upside down. At one point some in forum even felt Shlok is faking the hate to train Astha or whatever!
This could be it, the TRP's were always low ..it could be either an exercise to raise the TRP's or to shut down the show 😕.
