Can't believe it is already past 1 yr...bday party of my little one over...despite some major glitches from a relentless rain God and a tear ur hair apart annoyingly low iq catering guy...yeah don't ask...anyways people had fun, guests n family gone...life suddenly seems quiet...or maybe coz baby is sleeping right now...

Happy Monday ve everyone🤗

I was playing around with U-Tube late last night n chanced upon the terrace scene where Khushi was going to commit suicide and Arnav saves her, blasts her, accuses her and calls her characterless😡. Then she breaks down as he struts away, with the new Rabba Ve playing in the background. I was almost moved to tears and was surprised at myself. Infact it was a sequence I had not liked as much when it originally aired becoz I thought it was rushed, but 2 years later it had such a huge impact that I sat there wanting more😳. IPK really was something else..

N while I was left in this nostalgic mood I came across this wonderful edit posted by a friend. It just so beautifully depicts the story of Arnav & Khushi😃

First birthday's are super special but then so are all their subsequent ones. I remember being so so sooo excited about each of my birthdays as a kid, it was THE event of the year for me, one I would start planning for as soon s my previous one was over😆😆. But its funny now how ALL that excitement is now transferred to my kiddos birthdays😃.

Arey waah Pri your little angel is already one. So cool. Does she walk now. I know how stressful the first birthdays are. My daughter was terribly shy and was practically clinging on to me only like a small monkey during her first birthday party that at the end of the day I was left wondering why the hell I went all the distance to arrange a party for her if she never left me at all. It was tiring at the end of the day. Like Savs said, you better take time off to pamper yourself at a spa.

Yup that becomes the case and when they go to double digits it would be full of tension - They want something else and what you do is actually never the one they imagined. Uff the MUs are too much.

My daughter is just like ASR in IPK - Doesn't want any one to fuss around for her birthday, gives strict instructions to not do anything special but becomes the biggest sulking kid if we don't do something special. Uff, I was so laughing when this sequence was done in the show and I think I was probably one of the few who actually loved ASR's birthday minus the jalebi making part by ASR and the introduction of Chota ASR because it resonated so much with my experience with my daughter.

The first year is the hardest, all the while being super special. A big 🤗 to you Pri and special sloppy muah to little A. Now on to running, jumping, talking A 😃
