Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, who clocked 41 years of marital bliss Tuesday, are not celebrating the special day in a big way as the entire family is busy with other commitments. However, Big B says their hearts are "together".
"Devoid of any celebration, devoid of presence, just devoid...Wife away out of country, children travelling ..but hearts together (sic)," the 71-year-old tweeted.
The couple got married June 3, 1973 and has two children - son Abhishek and daughter Shweta.
While Abhishek is married to actress Rai and they have daughter named Aaradhya, Shweta is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda and have son Agastya Nanda and daughter Navya Naveli Nanda.
Abhishek expressed his love towards his parents on Twitter Tuesday morning by posting a photograph and captioning it: "My parents' anniversary today. 41 years and still going strong! Love you guys."
Big B, who has worked with wife Jaya in films including "Zanjeer", "Abhimaan", "Chupke Chupke", "Sholay", "Silsila" and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", thanked fans for sending in wishes.
"And to all that wish for the anniversary...many thanks for the wishes...love all of you," he tweeted.
The megastar also dedicated his blog to all the 'wives' and thanked them for making the life of men beautiful and gratifying.
On his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, he wrote: "The lavishness of the coming together, the energy and the protocol, the submission to custom and ritual...and suddenly there is another member among you...they are referred to as the 'ardhangini', the half of the body that you possess. They bring life, they bring harmony and composure, they acknowledge the growth of the members of this new surname, they mind the home and the hearth! They are quite unique.
"God bless them all that adorn these qualifications...for they are the rulers, the future, the ones that shall be obeyed to...they are the women the female, the better half of mankind...and they are indeed superior.
"To that superiority may I dedicate this blog to all those among us that endorse such detail. You have lived and loved and taken care and administered your prevalence. You have been strong and weak together. You have managed the home, the nest that you build, to welcome the partner as your own...you are superior."

Celebrities like Katy Perry, Lindsay Lohan, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have dared to wear sheer outfits on different occasions. As the temperature goes up, fill your wardrobe with the see-through pieces, suggests an expert.
"Sheer fabrics are great for the summer. You want something casual or dressy; a sheer fabric can be the right choice. They are absolutely great for people with highlights on their hair, as it can soften their appearance and make them look even more demure," Malini Hemlani, image consultant, told IANS.
But she suggests to wear it with caution as the right undergarment under the sheers can make your look go from class to crass.
Those who wish to give just a peek, can try panels.
"When you just want to show a hint of skin, a sheer panel will do the trick," she said.
Women with curves can also follow the trend, but it's how they choose to wear it that matters the most.
"Sheer blouses are best worn loose if you are curvy, you don't want the problem areas highlighted. The more fitted the sheer garment, the more risqu your look becomes.
"The look should be relaxed and comfortable. Keep your sheer blouse chic by wearing one in a looser fitting style," she said.
She also recommends patterns with tailored cuffs collars or just sleeves for women with curvy bodies.
"Fitted sheer shirts even in shiny fabrics look great if you have a slimmer torso. It helps balance the look out with your lower body," said Hemlani.
If you choose to bare it all with a sheer top or bottom, keep the other half of your body cosy with some solid fabric, she suggests

Swastik Productions' popular mythological series Mahabharat onStar Plus celebrated the completion of 200 successfully. The team was highly ecstatic and rejoicing their golden moment.
The show has managed to garner accolades for its performances and the projection of its storyline. So to know about the celebration we got in touch with Shaheer Sheikh who plays the role of Arjun.
About the celebration, he says, "We celebrated the occasion with a cake cutting ceremony. Basically we all are living in a place to shoot which is far from the city and I feel that we have come more close to the nature. We have not clicked any pictures as we were busy celebrating and we get so engrossed in our work that we don't even bother to click pictures. But we had great fun and we all enjoy shooting."
"Lastly I would say that those who have not read about Mahabharat or is unaware about it then people do watch the show as I got to know so much about the mythology and I want my audience and viewers to also know about it," concludes Shaheer.
TellyBuzz wishes the entire team of Mahabharat heartiest congratulations!

BHOPAL: He wanted to cook food. She wanted him to stay away from kitchen. What happened next between Jitendra Patel, 30, and his wife, Uma Patel,27, in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh is a below-the-belt domestic spat.
The couple, who got married in 2010 after a courtship of two years, classifies the ensuing scuffle as the culmination of a series of 'stressful events'.
The incident took place at district's Pagra village on May 4, but came to light on Monday after Jitendra reached district hospital complaining about swelling and pus formation in his genitals.
When Jitendra and Uma started to argue on May 4, their children tried to separate the two, and they together went to hold her down, that's when she allegedly bit his penis.
On May 5, Jitendra asked Uma to get him breakfast. When Uma posed a deaf ear, Jitendra went inside the kitchen and started cooking, said police.
Uma got violent after this and began to attack her husband with whatever she got in hand.
During the scuffle Jitendra's towel fell off down exposing his vital parts. She allegedly grabbed his testicles and bit off his genitals. He somehow managed to escape and reported the matter to police.
Jitendra, however, refused to undergo a medical examination done fearing public humiliation. His wife was booked and released on bail. After a counselling session by police, they agreed to stay together.
But when his genitals got infected, he discussed the matter with one of his close friend who advised him some traditional cure with local herbs.
Things worsened after his genital swelled with pus formation. One of the elderly villagers whom he contacted triggered a panic button claiming "women have venomous teeth".
"Better you consult a doctor before venom spreads across your body," police said quoting Jitendra's complaint. It was after this that he went to see doctor.
He was hospitalized immediately after the examination and his surgery was scheduled on Tuesday.
Police officers are likely to add more charges like 'attempt to murder' against Jitendra's wife.

Hello all..
I am so glad that I got very busy at work and with my managers hovering around me, couldn't come to IF at all. These 3 weeks have been a bliss, didn't realize how toxic IF is.. I got over my addiction of IF, don't even feel like coming to this place..This is one of those toxic and negative places which really screws your thinking..Wished I never came back after my initial sign in in 2006. But alas IPK changed it.Frankly I enjoyed IPK when I was not on IF, but this place totally ruined my memories of IPK.VB thrives in negativity.. God bless him, hope one day he can do something better in life other than managing a toxic place🥱
