In other news, our local channel has been beaming the IIFA green carpet (apparently it is the "Hindi" version of red carpet, or so I am dutifully informed by the anchor😕) live online since six in the evening. And everything and everyone is introduced with some Amreeki equivalent to help the poor people understand...so it is not IIFA, but the Bollywood Oscars. Deepika Padukone is the Indian Sandra Bullock and Priyanka Chopra the Angelina Jolie 😆
