SRK-Kajol in 'DDLJ' remake?

There has been news of their reunion for some time now and although both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have never refused to work together, things seem to have been on a back burner for a considerable amount of time. However, BizAsia has learnt that Aditya Chopra is planning a contemporary remake of 1995's ever popular Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (DDLJ') and the jodi could well be coming together for it.

Hindustan Times has reported that Chopra's remake has the tentative title of Dulhaniya Chali Diwale Ke Sath' and will see TV actor Farhan Khan and Mahika Sharma in the lead roles. Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal will be essaying the roles of Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri of the 1995 hit.

It seems that DDLJ' romance with a modern twist is on the cards of late as Dharma Productions Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' is also a tribute to the film which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

When I heard about the remake, I was like "Satyaanash!!" I mean, how can you improve on perfection? & if improvement is not the goal, then why remake a classic?? & now with the news of that guy.. I can just say with all the implications of the phrase, What the-?

Soni i don't mind BI ka pics as it doesn't make me miss SaRun. However neither did i nor La wanted to know you do everything for BI that you did for IPK.
