ok so I was watching the recorded episodes of IPKKND.. the phase was post Diwali and Pre Arnav's Engagement...

Well, I may be the odd one out.. but I really liked Arnav during that time... I know I know he was very rude and grumpy but for me he was a confused soul and portrayed various emotions at one time... the way he DESPERATELY wanted Khushi to say something so as to help him find peace of heart, was awesome.. 👏

I can watch these episodes N number of times... Specially the necklace and the trial room scene... ufff his eyes... jaan hi le lengi meri..

I liked his ASR persona as well...as big of a jerk he was at times, and cruel and heartless at others...it was the struggle that he faced...between admitting his feelings for her and his obviously stubborn denial of the same...

I think Barun is one of the very few actors who portray so much through his eyes!!...I'm a sucker for expressive eyes...lol. and I completely agree with you...although, I'll quote an old hindi song.

"Apne Deewane Ka Kar De Bura Haal Re ki Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare!"😉

and of course the new song...I like to think it was written for this man:

"Tere Naina Bade Kaatil, Maar Hi Dalenge"

I liked those scenes as well. It fit his persona really well. He just wants Khushi to accept that he is important for her. And what better way to do that other than taunt her! The intensity of the scene was really nice. Especially the necklace scene and the trial room scene. I liked when she came to tell him not to make his engagement the next day and he asked 'agar mere sagai ho ya na ho, kal ho aur ek saal baad ho, tumhe kyun faraq padtha hai'. I just watch Barun's eyes and expressions. Even without any dialogues, he is mind blowing. You can totally feel scene. Along with that Barun's Diwali haircut, just added more spice to the scene. Oh no Katie, forget this conversation ever cropped up. We want an AY update. 😃

I completely agree with you Sindu! As much as I love a head full of hair on Barun, his Diwali haircut was sharp and...I dont have a word for it...it made him look edgy and oh-so-dreamy. In the later episodes I felt they over-did it with the gel but hey...he's still hot..lol.

you know which other sequence was mind-blowing in terms of his expressions of face and eyes...for me...the sequence when he saw Shyam and Khushi on the terrace...the shock on his face...the way the smile wiped off his face slowly (I watched it creepily enough to notice every single muscle that relaxed on his face)...

and the wedding sequence once they got home after he forcefully married her...the questioning of the family and Khushi demanding answers from him in their room...

I swear I could go on with this list...LOL.
